Jeez Colorado getting worked by Ok State. Could only hope this would loosen the grip the Buffs have on OL Grant Polley, would really like to get him but may be long shot.
Vito?
Warren at RB and not surviving a full season? Beuchele under a system that will be new. Wish I had your optimism.
Any of you guys: who is a true freshman that will end up starting and make an impact?
Also Hudson who was supposed to be big time; Is he gonna eventually start this season you guys think?

When are we going to find out who the rest of our coaching staff will be?
I'm not expecting to hear anything before the season is over for the new coaches. It also matters if Herman wants to wait and just make one final staff announcement.
If it's Drayton for RB's coach, the Bears season is over this weekend. If Beck is in, then this could drag out until closer to the end of the dead period if OSU beats Clemson.
I have a lot more optimism than most, but this coming year I think we will do very well.
I am concerned about Shane in a new system, but the truth is, he will for the first time in a very long time have both elite receivers to throw to, and elite blockers in front of him. That will help in the learning curve.
With the exception of USC and Oklahoma, we should have better talent than anyone we face, this is going to help in the learning curve as well.
I expect our defense to get much better, we all saw the improvements made as the year progressed, I think under Orlando they can be even better, especially if Herman is the perfectionist we are lead to believe.
But the biggest reason I'm optimistic is that we lost a lot of games because of Special Teams and stupid mistakes and penalties, and that is easily fixed. I believe that just fixing those things would have made us a 7 or 8 win team last year.
I think we win 10 games next year.
Glad he didn't end up at Tech after all
It feels like sexual assaults are way up the past few years in colleges. I read an article in the NY Times just yesterday about Stanford having a huge e in reports of sexual assaults.
So what reason did Nahlin give for thinking Texas would land Sheffield?
Sources. He also said that his recruitment will very likely drag until May so there is a long way to go. It seems like the Sheffields want to be checking the rosters in the spring and from there see what's best for them.
Big 12 holding its own... SEC well?

Seems like I heard Baylor was having problems too
Yeah, that's kind of a given.
QB Charlie Brewer of Austin Lake Travis has flipped to Baylor.

Texas made DB Kamren Curl of Muskogee (OK.) top 6, alongside Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and TCU.
Probably my favorite DB of the available options at this point.
Texas made ATH Jordan Pouncey, of Winter Park (FL.), top 4.
