Did you guys see our backups? Should be happy that we have Boyd. #gratefulforBoyd #GoodVibes #LetsGoHorns
We’re coming back...to Austin without Boyd hopefully. Can you leave a player on the tarmac?

If we lose, this one is on Davante Davis and Kris Boyd. We win this one with those two in the first quarter right? 250+ yds in the first quarter.
Brandon Jones can join those assholes on the list.

That one absolutely killed me.
Ehlinger was going to get his shot to take the lead, but instead all momentum was zapped.
6 YEARS STRAIGHT TO OKlite, wow.. Defense was not good. Offense had way too many 3 and outs and when will we learn that we need more pressure on the qbs. Maybe getting out of the 3-4 would be a good idea every now and again
Horrible loss.
Our wrs dropped too many passes. The D gave too much cushion to wrs. Herman wussed out at the end of the 1st half, not even a hail mary try.
The holding call on 77 was pure bs. It took away a first down and led to a punt. Why we let that qb run on us, I have no clue. It is unacceptable. On his last score, his wr had boyd in an arm lock, but of course the ref ignored the hold.
The onside kick was garbage. Just kick it deep and play good D. You get better potential field position after a punt.
Well now O ing U is back on top......i am disgusted that I had to wait 2 weeks for this fest. We need to win out so we canget OU again.
There is an old song " It's another saturday night and I gotta get drunk", a Saturday night in Stillwater can do that to you. What a wasted game.
Hoping this will be a good learning experience for the team, don't be late to meetings!!!!
Herman could have over looked this because Davis, and Boyd were starters, but he didn't because he is actually trying to teach them something, and he is working hard to get rid of the en lement at ude that has been at Texas as far back as I can remember.
What is it with our defense? We get absolutely zero push unless we try something extravagant. Orlando was worried about third down... it was every down in the first half. You cannot sit back with two freshman corners and Brandon Jones head in the clouds and let a guy pick your softbcoverage to pieces. Seems like Orlando tries to figure out what the O is doing by letting them move down the field. The bend and then break defensive method. Out of all the players on D only Gary Johnson showed Sunday ability and even he has trouble getting off blocks. In the open field he is a terror. He is by far the best athlete on D.
Offense. Our O line got pushed around. Calvin Anderson held on multiple occasions and did not get called, Gundy had every right to be upset. Shackeford cannot move his opposition. Vahe... he may just be a bit slow in the head. Our receivers clearly have trouble getting separation. We are fine with allowing them to produce tough catches every game? Sometimes it’s not gonna happen. How many pass plays are run well enough and or designed well enough to get receivers open other than closely contested quick slants a bubble screens (which went missing this game)?
Having said all that, we again had the mental for ude to at least give it a go. For a while our defense started defeating a patchwork Ok st. O line. Then they started using the QB on the option and blew us up. Our safties and nickels did not have good games. Our freshman corners literally do not have the ability. Boyce is just not close to ready as I have stated on numerous occasions. K. Boyd had a bad game but he does have talent, it’s just not in his above the neck region.
Sterns and BJ Foster both made some really important tackles that went unnoticed but also found themselves in the wrong places at times. I really like Foster at blowing up the run. That’s a true freshman blowing up Justice Hill.
We have the clear possibility of losing 3 out of 4 conference games, West V, TT, Iowa St. A lose to TT may be inevitable on the road.
Sam did the best he could and again took far too many hits. He gave us a chance.
I am perfectly fine with this as well. It clearly hurt us, but the responsibility lies with the players.
IMO, this team is exactly who they are. An above average team that has the capability to beat a lot of good teams and an ability to lose to slightly lesser teams. I believe this team has above average to elite talent, but the elite talent is young and inexperienced. We all thought this would be a really good season if they went 9-3. The only thing that changed was the hype as the season has gone on. They played above their ability against OU and it worked. However, this is not Alabama that can play their c game and still win, at least not yet. They just dont have the overall talent on the roster. Even their victories haven't been overly dominant.
This team will be fine and will finish out with 2 or 3 more wins and have an exciting bowl game. Next year is when they can set their sights a little higher. , being in the B12 Chamionship conversation right now is something none of us really thought they would be at...I sure as didnt think that, especially after Maryland. They're overachieving and I'm enjoying it. Much better than the previous 5 seasons when we were all hoping they would at least make a bowl game.
Lol the two head coaches at the end cracked me up
Amen right on the money. Only bright spot next year is at RB. Fair OL loses three starters and who is going to replace them. WR will be worse if pro's get a couple [do not look ready to me]
GB will be same adquate but not champship quality. Unless freshmen show something.. No way defense can be better too many starters leaving.
CB Bobby Wolfe de-commits from A&M.

If it makes anybody feel better, Texas should come out pretty pissed off against WVU.

If they can’t get them up and start fast for a game that could send them to a conference championship. Then we have bigger problems. See y’all there! 🤘🏻
Honestly, I think the only real loss on the OL will be Calvin Anderson. Well, the versatility of Elijah Rodriquez will be missed. I've heard great things about Angilau at the G position so that will be an upgrade over Vahe. Another year of Herb Hand and I think the Oline could be better next year. I dont know if Patrick Hudson will be cleared to play again at this point, so it's probably a safe bet to not count him. Basically, I can see an OL of Okafor, Angilau, Shack, Kerstetter, and Cosmi with Imade, Ghirmai, Reese Moore, and Tyler Johnson as backups. If Hudson is cleared then he is your RG with Kerstetter being the flex backup G/C.
At the WR spot, I think only one of CJ or LJH may declare for the draft. However, I think both will be given lower than expected draft grades which could make them both stay. They both need one more year. CJ could/should be influenced by his dad to stay for one more year of development and finish his degree. LJH is the wild card. He is so versatile that I could see him with a higher grade and he could declare. Eagles, Moore and Woodard should be ready to take one of the positions (Moore in the slot for LJH and Eagles or Woodard for CJ).
The only position on this roster that is a concern for me is LB. I dont know a lot about Ayodele or Overshown to make an assessment. McCulloch will be the only one with experience and I think Roach will spin back down to DE to replace Hager. Ossai should be the B-Backer which would move JM to ILB. I think Coburn will be an upgrade over Nelson to go along with Wilbon. Graham and Bimage will take over for Omenihu. With all that said, I think the Defense will be more athletic and have better overall talent, but less experience.
