Spurs look tired. Only Hill has an energy. Hopefully Ginobili will turn it on in the 2nd half. Need to come out of halftime and cut the lead to 6-8 pts, not fall behind by 15.

3 wide open shots for two scrubs and two missed free throws would have been the difference.

Pop needs to counter Dallas small ball with big ball post up. Post Barea on every play.

Tony and George are getting the best/highest percentage shots. We need to milk that as Dallas doesn't have anyone that can stay in front of them.

    Anyone want to start TP?

I think we need a relentless attack this whole half and starting TP can help. We need to get to the rim at all times.

-Duncan looks horrible..his shot selection has been pathetic, he's short on everything, missing the only chip shots he's gotten..he's fumbling rebounds..his D has been fine though IMO..he really needs to wake up in the 2nd half, start attacking more..I don't know how he can fall off in 1 game after dominating the others..

-Manu has to show up..he's passive and not looking to score..he looks bad as well..

-Parker and Jefferson need to keep doing what they're doing..

-Hill's offense has been very good, but his D has been terrible..he can't seem to stop Barea..

-Bonner needs a hypnotist or something to get over the playoffs..was he scarred as a kid or something?..he really needs to show up..it's sad, but this team is built to rely on him at certain times..he needs to make shots, he's supposed to be the best shooter on this team..

-Spurs have no energy..getting worked and outhustled..missing rotations..there's absolutely no way that Shawn Marion should be allowed playing the way he is, he's not a good player..

Bad time to have the worst quarter of the season.

This game is still winnable, but it looks like Tim's having one of those tendonisis-bothered games. He's slow and plodding.

Seriously. How can a team act so damn stupid and forget the game plan? They are playing the dumbest defense on Kidd and everyone. So bad.

See, going into the game, the Spurs could have lost and been ok. What they could not do, is do it in this fashion. You have to make the Mavs work their asses off out of desperation. Not embarrass you in your own building. These types of games turn series around.

Just a pitiful first half and I am seriously concerned about Duncan. That is a huge drop off. Manu at least still looks normal. Tim looks flat out hobbled.

Spurs brought back down to earth...and back to the way they played most of the season. I guess they figured they already had this series in the bag? Hopefully they remember how it felt when Dallas tossed them in the 1st round last year and stop this .

Game is still very winnable. If Terry is out then Kidd and Barea will get over extended big time come 4th quarter and if Parker, Manu, and Duncan can get it together with a little help from Jefferson and Hill then this game can be won. Have to steadily increase the level of play over the next 2 quarters.

Manu can still get to the basket on Marion despite what Shawn thinks of his own defense, but he's got to be patient when they come over to trap him on the PnR and look for the best opportunity.

If not for Hill's 3, we would have managed only to score 34 pts in the HALF. 37 points in the half...

    Unbelievable.

I don't know if it's possible to dig ourselves out of this hole, seems like one of those nights.

Kenny the Jet Smith advocating more small ball.

That's really gonna help the rebounding deficit.

This is about as bad as things can go. You could not have scripted any thing as bad, except for an injury.

I am absolutely stunned at this level of play and energy in a game this big. Spurs don't have it mentally today and that is on Pop. It is also on Pop for his rotation and changing what works.

Really poor half from top to bottom.

Spurs should have come out with Game 7-type intensity and they look like they're playing in the preseason. It worries me that we look slow. Can't let the Mavs tie this series up.
