At least he said he was wrong, but he was right.

Top 5 can't be broken by any player playing right now imo, except for Lebron. But Lebron has to want it. It's a mental game now with him. Physically, he's got more than enough tools to do it.

Anyway, Dirk is playing out of his mind. But no player should be shooting 20+ FTs in a playoff game. That means too many fouls are being called. , I'm not even sure a team should be shooting 20+ FTs in a game.

I agree with all of this ...Lebron only player still in the playoffs and maybe the in the league that has an outside shot at GOAT status ....but Dirk was badass.

Dirk has never played this well. He's in a zone as is the Mavs bench. It's all falling into place for the Mavs. This is turning into one of those special postseasons that the Mavs will be unlikely to duplicate again.

He played this well back in '06 up until game 3 of the finals. I would say this game is up there with his 50 point game against the Suns back in the WCF of '06.

LOL, I swear I saw Kemp's "coming out" game against the Knicks years ago on MSG (Madison Square Garden Network).....or at least that's when I really started to pay attention to him. My favorite Kemp dunk was the alleyoop he got from GP in which his momentum caused his body to go horizontal and swing as he hung onto the rim.

Shame the lockout had to come, it hurt his career imo.

Dirk turns in a great performance, but it took Wesbrook sucking to get the win.

Mavs will be lucky to go to OKC 2-0.

Series going 6 games, at least.

One big advantage is that Mavs have so much more deep playoffs experience.

that said, OKC probably wins the game if Westbrook plays even a average game and Scotty Brooks makes an adjustment after Dirk puts up 30+ on you after 3 quarters....

+1. Dirk had 40+ points and OKC was still within 6 points with 2 minutes left in the game. OKC should be feeling alright about themselves right now. Dirk went off, Barea went off, and Westbrook played like dog , and it was still a game....

1. There is no ing hidden agenda. I gave Dirk all his props and I have given plenty to your loverboy this playoffs as well ... even though I was disappointed in his Game 1 performance ...

2. I was at Game 3. Like i said Mavs are better than the Lakers. Just like that terry dagger (middle of the 4th) told me Lakers were not coming back in that series, OKC was NOT winning (check the thread history) when terry hit the one over durant tonight.

Only way I see Dallas losing is if Lebron reaches the last level or greatness or Bulls have 7 more defensive performances like Game 1 ...
