It's hard to believe we have a spurs game and David West isn't the one hurting us on defense.When the warriors start attacking Mills, Popovich has got to bench him. Unless mills is just hitting everything. If his shot is off, there is no need to have him on the floor. He and danny green are the worst at making plays. and I don't know why Pop still has Green inbounding the ball. $10 millin a year got us a guy this season that can't hit open jumpers, keeps losing his man on defense from ball watching, and can't create plays. WTF

Spurs don't have enough talent to beat GS imo. Curry and Klay get shut down for the dubs and Green/Barnes/Iggy can get you 20 a piece, who can step up for the Spurs?

Also, the level of focus and effort is there. It's great to see. If shots were falling just a little bit better this would be an ass whopping on both ends. Even shooting 40% (which is terrible) would result in a double digit lead.

Spurs aren't scared of GS at all and you are seeing some of David West rubbing off on the team (which is a good thing). They are frustrated I bet, you can see it with how they are crashing the glass. Let's see if they can keep generating the looks. That's what's important especially because the defense has proven to be pretty effective against GS.

The issue is the Spurs haven't been hitting these open looks consistently for going on 2 months (with the exception of Kawhi and LMA).

This offense as a whole is a top 4 offense in the league.

Yet they continue to miss plenty of open looks. A lot of the offense has been Kawhi and LMA playing at an extremely high level with Tony, Tim, Manu, and West doing their parts. Any other year, coupled with the elite D, and the Spurs are favored to win it all. Unfortunately this year it isn't enough; they have to hit their open looks, but they haven't been able to consistently.

-Offense would run a lot better if Bobo was in there tbh (still not great, Dubs are great defensively)
-Porky has been solid defensively and even worse offensively
-I think Pop would take an ugly game like this with the Dubs every single time, it's the Spurs only chance of winning IMO....
