Nothing at all surprised by the outcome of this game. Can't help but think Durant has singlehanded lay made the NBA the 'who cares' league. There wasn't a fraction of the enthusiasm for him when he won his ring compared to the last several years of baseball. It's not very exciting when a multiple time MVP joins a 73 win team.
Yeah anyone with half a brain could tell you that he's built for today's NBA and yet every team passed on him at least once. Many guys picked before him will be scrubs. Can't help but think he would've been better to have against the elite teams than a guy like Derrick White. I guess if White becomes a knockdown shooter and a good defender then I'll eat my words but until then blah.

It's a bad pick regardless. Spurs should be in win now mode considering we're in Kawhi's prime. Yes, rookies hardly ever contribute to championship teams, but it looks like GS looked for and found one anyway.
