Texas has offered LB Brynden Walker of Oklahoma City, OK.
Someone please post his profile and film as I'm having phone issues today.
Brokermeyer and Jackson are (2) of the best bookend tackles I've ever seen at this stage of the game and they're only Sop res in HS currently.
Fatheree is up there too, but he is so big and often times gets caught out over his heels.
Conner and Foster are crazy good too.
It's hard for me to even imagine a better OL class than this 2021 group- ever.
Shocked!!!
OrangeBloods reporting S Brandon Jones will miss spring training after having a successful ankle surgery.
Somebody really, really, really loves Haynes King. He be good, but damn!
Thanks for reminding me, I need to call his uncle, That is one redass family, about as Aggie as you get. He sent me a picture of him golfing with Jackie and RC.
It's a message to him that if he is leaning to Stanford he can expect more of the same, however if he commits to the good guys, we will have him back up to 5'star in no time.![]()
That is the way it seems to work.
Isnt Parr already committed to the good guys? I think you're thinking of Lindberg.
The camp he recently did went really well from all I saw on Twitter. Some of the recruiting guys even suggested he was nearing 5 star status. The week leading to that he had just notched his Bama offer so things were trending well.
Yes Parrs already committed.
And Lindberg is the one flirting with Stanford. It’ll probably be between us and then as usual.
Don't worry, when Texas needs a recruiting bump to get us into the top 3, Parr will be back in the top 100 as will Lindberg, Mookie, and all our other recruits.
More quotes from 2021 QB Preston Stone after his Junior Day visit to UT (24/7):
“It was fun,” Stone said. “I got to meet with Coach (Tom) Herman for a while and took a tour of the facilities. I got to meet a lot of coaches and saw the new early enrollees. It was a lot of fun.”
“Coach Herman told me that he is really interested in me coming here,” Stone said. “He went to Parish a couple of weeks ago. It was great to get to talk to him. I got to meet his wife and kids, too. They were pretty funny. It was a really exciting day.”
“What Coach Beck was preaching the whole time was what it means to be a Texas quarterback,” Stone said. “You look at guys like Sam Ehlinger and Vince Young, they all possess that certain trait of a winner. Coach Beck is an awesome coach."
“You look at his track record with Tommy Armstrong and all those guys that have put up great numbers in college football. Sam is the next one in line. He’s definitely a quarterback generator.”
“Education is first,” Stone said. “I’m also looking for a culture that wins. Sam said after the Sugar Bowl win that Texas is back. They obviously have a winning culture here. That’s something that I’ll be looking forward to.”

Update on five-star WR Johnny Wilson of Calabasas, CA (24/7):
“Shoot, Texas is a school I really like,” Wilson said. “I gained interest in them at the end of my sop re year. I just saw how they used their big receivers. That really jumped out at me. I started watching Collin’s highlights, and he’s big as . I can see myself possibly being in that offense.”
“Coach Mehringer is a funny guy,” Wilson said. “But he can get serious. When it’s time to work, it’s time to work. Overall, he’s a great guy. What I’ve seen him do for his receivers and his offense says a lot.”
“Coach Herman and Coach Mehringer are doing some great things down there,” Wilson said. “The past two years have been really good. When I first started going through the recruiting process, going out-of-state wasn’t really a thing I would look into. But they really opened up that door.”
“Seeing them recruit out of my home state shows that they value the players that come from here,” Wilson said. “That’s something that I really look into.”

Quotes from DE/LB Prince Dorbah of Dallas Highland Park (24/7):
“I’m kind of waiting (to narrow down a list of schools),” he said. “I’m probably not going to make anything official yet because a lot of stuff is going on. I’m not going to make a top five until this summer, and then hopefully I can make a decision by next season.”
“I think the University of Texas is probably leading the way right now,” he said. “They are recruiting me hard, probably harder than any school right now. So, we are on good terms.”
“I feel like Texas is building something special up there right now,” he said. “They have a lot of good players and a lot of special classes coming up, so it should be fun to see what happens in the near future.”
“It’s just the relationship with Coach (Tom) Herman and the rest of the coaching staff,” he said. “They treat me like family and that’s one thing I look for when I go to a place. I want to see if I can fit in there.”
