Yeah, Sharpe was pretty bad. He has a long way to go. I wouldn't take him over Wesley at this point.
Sharpe scored 9 points on 4 of 18 from the field and 0 for 5 from 3.... he didn't abuse jack...

Sharpe sucked donkey s. He got totally shown up by Devoe, who actually looked like an NBA player.
Sharpe is just Lonnie, part 2. He has a nice jumper, and he can drive in a straight line, if you let him, but there's no "there" there.
You're crazy
Sharpe still needs some growth but he'll be better than any current guard on the Spurs.
Portland is high on and building on a Scoot and Sharpe backcourt.
Yeah, that's not going to end well, although I give them minor credit for FINALLY drafting a guard over 6'3".
Never heard that story before. lol.
Sharpe has had some moments and will surely need time to develop. Scoot definitely looks like he belongs from the small sample size I've seen.
Sharpe is very limited right now. He's looking to shoot threes or highlight dunk. That's kind of it. He's struggling to create even basic shots for himself and he disappears. Last night was a game he should have dominated.
He made a horrible decision not to play for a year and his at ude doesn't seem great. I do think playing next to a playmaker in Scoot will help him, in fact is necessary.
But yeah I'd take Wesley. He's improving more than Sharpe, he's busting his butt and making mistakes, and most of all he's a serious threat on defense where Sharpe is nonexistent. Sharpe was always drafted too high.
He's
Lonnie
An expensive Lonnie who may not have the mental structure to accept failure and improve. Didn't he declare himself one of the best players in the league before he got drafted, something like that?
They sure talked him up. You would think he scored 30. He is not a good player but they all want him to be Kobe just like they wanted Kobe to be Jordan.
Wait, Sharpe was drafted? That dude is terrible.
He went 7th overall last year.
Sharpe had some pretty good moments at the end of the season after Lillard got put on the shelf. He's got good size, there's no question he's athletic as , and his jumper is passable.
He definitely puts out some Lonnie vibes, but I don't know how you can be so quick to judge a guy who just turned 20 after sitting out a year and then had only 1800 minutes of NBA action. He's far from a finished product. His athleticism and shooting give him a decent floor as a 3 and D guy if he makes any sort of effort on defense.
He has all the earmarks of a me-first, no team, no defense, pose after dunks lunkhead. If he shows any signs of diverging from that career track, I'll be the first to give him credit.
It sounds like you are forecasting about 50 wins for the Spurs?
