He pretty much sucked last year in the All-Star game.

Yeah but I have to think that during that third quarter when the West wasn't hitting that he would have made a foray or two into the basket and gotten Fts or buckets out of it.

Parker and Ginobili both sucked in their All-Star debuts. It's cool that they got there. But both last year with Manu and this year with Tony, I felt like they were out of their league during the games. I guess that's a testament to the Spurs system.

First time in the ASG is a big adjustment for most players. Just consider how out-of-place TP and Gino looked at times in their first year in the L ...

tony did fine in the first half, got to the basket easy. then he started trying to get cute in the 2nd half

I agree with Ginobili but I dont think thats true for Parker. He did parker things whenever he wanted...he got into the lane before they packed it in (NOONE ddrove the lane successfully)....he just tried to make to many flashy passes, and all of his good passes did not come up with assists

I agree. I was just making a statement. I'm not bashing them. This game doesn't mean anything in the scheme of things.

And Manu and Tony both seemed to really enjoy/relish the experience of All-Star weekend and appreciate being there.

he's already got more money than he knows what to do with. he should learn from kg what a gigantic contract can do to your le chances. coca-cola inc (sprite, powerade) and nike should have his coffers full indefinitely.

There's only been one year (last, when he only played 17 minutes) when he didn't grab at least ten boards. Even then, he got nine.
