Well you could easily say the refs gave this game to the Sonics with those last 2 non calls
What non calls? All the Spurs stood around with their heads up their rears while Horry fell out of bounds.

And our last play, typical Popovich special. "Get it to Tim." Well Tim didn't go to the ball, Seattle stole it, end of story.

Spurs outshot, outrebounded, out ASTed, out-3Gd, they were lucky to be in the game at the end.

That is true. When you play like crap -like we did- and the game is close, you can unfortunately be at the mercy of some of the worst officials in all pro sports i.e. NBA officials.

The non-call on the moving pick to get Allen free for his bull 3 was the most egregious, if I'm forced to choose a call that really stands out.

He wasn't really falling out of bounds at first. Tim or Tony needed to come get the ball and they didn't. Don't blame Horry.

Um, no, because Tim and Tony are both worse FT shooters than Horry. They probably didn't call for the ball because they thought Horry was either gonna get fouled or call for a time out. He really didn't look out of balance at all, but he put the ball so far in front of him and bent over, he made himself lose balance, and then Wilcox gave him a nudge. He was trying to draw a foul when he could have just stood upright and called time.

Spurs will be lucky to go .500 on this road trip.

SPAM, it's a homer myth. ALL teams play better in the last 6 weeks of the season.

    27-36 rebounds is pitiful.
Nazr and Rasho, 2 rebounds combined is pitiful.
I hate to complain, and I still believe, but 2 boards is pitiful!

Bob Hill is loving this too much!!!! Sticking it to Pops.

We better concentrate on Winning the West HCA since we keep giving up our chance to gain ground on Detroit.

How do you NOT guard Ray Allen (the hot hand) in the waning moments of the game?

    Sacrifice a 2ptr not a 3!

Yeah I guess if you are a wuss you could say that.
Some refs don't have the balls to make crunch time calls. They shouldn't have too, but I didn't watch the calls or lackthereof

But you know what? If SA plays even half the fourth quarter like they did the last 2:30, they win. The refs may have bailed out Seattle, but only because SA put them in position to do so.

Pop got outcoached by Boner. Pretty sorry. Nobody on this team taller than 6-7 seems to care about HCA.

Time to root for Detroit against Dallas. HCA is fading from our grasps

Um, you just paraphrased exactly what I said. We played like crap - ergo we were in a position to get screwed by calls and we did.

Next two games -- Lakers and Clips!

I believe these next two games will determine whether thw Spurs will stay the West HCA front-runner or if we will be chasing Dallas for West HCA!

Umm.. they were calling for the ball. Tim was holding has open waiting for the pass. But my point was they needed to come to Horry and get the ball, not just wait.

Damn, you're right. The overall winning percentage of all teams in the last 6 weeks of the season is much higher than the rest of the year.

He should have called time out. Why not call time out with a 2 point lead? You could put Barry and Manu and Fin in and some good FT shooter would be icing the game for us. I don't care if he was on the out of bounds line or at half court, he should be calling a time out there.

There were 4 seconds left on the clock. If he was really desperate, he could have even just tried lobbing the ball over his head towards center court.
