Just getting in, here is my take. If this is Mr. Stern's way of making up to us for the game 3 and 4 debacles then the Association is in a sad state of affairs. This suspension does indeed give them conspiracy fuel for the fire and they will play it up. But as I mentioned before, Mr. Cuban in his blog questioned league office policies in the first place. He even admitted that he was a whiner in one of his blog posts.
Having said all that, let's take advantage of the situation and bring the series back to SA.

im a member of a Nuggs board and there are a few spurs fans who are there as well coz they know that there are no spurs boards around where u wont get insulted, personally attacked or banned for questioning some of the Spurs players/aoching moves lol (spursreport)

Greg Anthony- Terry made a boneheaded play and hes possibly gonna cost his team that.
Pippen- Good job by the Spurs bringing this to the attention of the league.

If the NBA is really interested in marketing the game, how about they put Flozell Adams in a Spurs jersey directly behind the Mav's bench. ... maybe liquor him up a bit.

This is the funniest thing I've listened to in a long time. Cuban is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn funny. For some reason, the radio link kept on going to commercial and it would comeback with Cuban talking in midstream so I'm not sure if this totally accurrate.
But I think Cuban said Stern had a problem with the decibel level of the music and PA system in the AA when he went to game four. Stern made the Mavs check the decibel levels to make sure they were within NBA limits. Cuban said he thinks the Commish has never been to an arena as loud as the AA.
Also, a fan asked a question about the foul calls TD was getting about the Mav's bigs. He said that if TD says, "excuse me," he draws a foul. He never once mentioned Dirk's ability to draw fouls though.
After listening to him, I understand why Mav Fans are such a-holes. Thank god Peter Holt stays in the background.

Just saw the video from several angles on NBA tv and ESPN and ran it slo-mo. Terry definitely punched Fin in the stomach area but it was in such close quarters, it wasn't that hard of a hit. Fin's midsection certainly moves upward but it wasn't thrown from a position of leverage. Fin doesn't pile-drive Jason. He reaches down and grabs the basketball and falls down and makes contact with Jason's head with his rear. Terry reacts by punching upward into the mid-section.
It was a weak punch as a reaction but since the NBA has a closed fist rule, Jason is at their mercy. Do I think it's fair. No. A fineable offense, maybe.
I guess I'm a little old school but if it's not something that could really injure someone if the punch connects, maybe you fine him. The reaction was the same as Bowen kicking Allen as a retaliation frustration move.
Cuban speaks:
- It's wrong that the league won't let players touch each others' nutsacks on the court.
- The San Antonio River is dirty.
- The Mavs never foul.
- David Stern hates noise.
- A closed hand is not a fist.
- It's horrible that the Spurs won't give up their broadcast rights in Austin to His Highness.
- For the 10,000th time, Michael Finley is to blame.
okay so what was the deal with barry and aj??? somebody posted earlier that they reportedly got into it.
Never heard anything about it.
What a pickup Finley was for the SPurs. Talk about hustle, balls to the walls. I mean, when it it tough, he really puts his nuts on the line. What can i say, the guy had, um, has balls.
Thats what I was asking about.
