I go when I can ... on the southside there is a place called "a place to shoot" near kinda by palo alto. They are mostly hunting rifles ... 2 30-30's, a 30-06, 20 gauge, 12 gauge, .357 magnum, 2 .22's ... they were my fathers ... but he's had surgery on his neck so he can't shoot all that well, so he passed them all down to me.

I lived out there...well further South. Always wanted to try that place, but then I was use to shooting indoors in the a/c.
I've never fired indoors ... and I would reckon it'd be better to shoot outdoors so you can be used to the variables (wind, sunshine, etc) so that when you hunt you're not like "WTF?
