no . well played Ponies...see you January 5th.Props to the Mavs. Great game, especially for November. This is beyond a doubt the best rivalry in the league.
Those stats don't show how well he did as a point guard and setting them up on offense nor do they show how well he played on the defensive end.
I don't know if you saw the game or not, but no one here who saw it is going to argue that Beno should have played when Vaughn obviously had a very good game.

Beno really did suck. Trust us.
Vaughn didn't.
Like our starters didn't play equally badly in the first quarter? All our guys miss rotations. happens. Beno will produce more than Vaughn when given the chance 9 times out of 10. That was just a dumbass knee-jerk reaction from Pop.
Lack of minutes for Beno is not why we lost the game.
If I remember correctly, he allowed two backdoors.
He sucked.
Why allow that to continue?
Earlier this year, one of the new players (can't remember which one) said that you had to learn to play Pop's way. If you don't play defense, you won't play at all! I guess Beno learned that tonight. Let's hope he's a fast learner!
Its not even a problem. Vaughn played well.
Vaughn was playing pretty solid, passing and attacking the basket. I think he had a couple of wild passes and all the extra time got went to his head during the 4th, so he got too.......I guess y.
I didn't catch the game tonight but 2 assists and 1 TO doesn't seem like he was setting guys up all that well. Plus wasn't he jacking up shots when Tim was on the floor?
i dont think beno was quick enough to stick with the dallas gaurds....
and vaughns stats could be misleading, he could be playin with scrubs could explain why low stats....
seriously wtf didnt pop play that lineup of beno/barry/ginoboli/bowen/duncan << this lineup usually gets us back into the game.....
No. He played well. He made maybe one bad decision in the fourth in regards to a shot, but thats it.
I didn't claim it was but I think it may have been a contributing factor. Pulling a guy after 1min for the entire game is pretty harsh imo. Beno had been playing well the past few games.
I know I'm not the only one who saw this,but who else saw Jason terry acting
like a punk street thug?Once the buzzer sounded there he was yelling out to the crowd with his hands up.Not one once of class whatso ever and dirk,it
seems,is starting to follow that act.All in all it was a good game,but I hate to see a lack of respect from any team.
SPURS=3X WORLD CHAMPS
mavs=0 championships
Like I said earlier, I don't think Pop intetended to keep him out the rest of the game at the time of the benching but Vaughn's play forced his hand.

Acting like you have won before is hard for Terry..
If you didn't see the game, then I'm not sure what we can tell you.
Vaughn ran the offense well and played defense. Beno chose not to tonight.
All of the shots he took were horrible. Dribbling to the basket early in the shot clock with no rebounders. Lucky for him, he was fouled on one of his drives. He took a contested fadaway jumper that looked ugly all the way. He's not AI. His job isn't to score. Lead the team, play D, and distribute the ball
Terry is a trash talking punk, who now after years of misery in Atlanta is relishing a bit too much being on a great team. All that he talked could not him buy a bucket in games 5 and 6 against the Heat, so it all evens out.
Tony going with that hop-step late in 4th was unforgiveable, i mean he knows they are calling that now, come on man get your head in the game.
Speak for yourself. You are past your bedtime. Dirk will be waiting for his massage. Get to it
Vaughn for Udrih in the second quarter was a great move, Udrih has been horrible defending Johnson.
Using Vaughn in the 4th quarter instead of Udrih was a really bad decission. Spurs team was very weak on the offensive end (Vaughn/Finley/Bowen/Horry/Oberto) and a point guard who can score would have greatly helped Spurs.
