So I have always wondered- when do contestants make their goodbye videos? Do they give parting comments in advance or do they know before the result show that they are going home and film it that morning?
Glad Blake is safe and LaKisha is gone. Still pulling for a Jordin/Blake Finale but Melinda is great so I am not sure.
As far as the Band compe ion... I am so getting my boys (Nothing More) to try out!! They love contests/compe ions!!

EWW!! Don't even compare the two. I couldn't stand Justin in season 1. The only thing he had going for him was his charisma. Blake can at least perform and do something different with a song unlike Mr. Guarini. Boo! lol

I can't believe it either! IMO Blake shouldn't be allowed to beatbox. AI is a singing contest period!! He bb to hide his weak vocals. Unfortunately people will vote for him b/c they think his unique, nevermind that the show has two very good singers left in Melinda and Jordin.

I gotta disagree on Blake. He doesn't have the best voice, but it's good enough to do what he does. The guy can put on a darn good show when he puts in a good mix of BB, singing, and style. However, sometimes it's over done. It's probably impossible to always be spot on with his style. As far as singing, it's not even close IMO Melinda is in a class of her own. But the nature of American Idol leads me to believe Jordin's cuteness will prevail.
Excuse my ignorance, but is it difficult to beat box? I wasn't impressed by it.
he was horrible the last show. However, he's been really good in other performances like the Bon Jovi episode and the Oldies episode.
It is difficult to do a good beat box, but for Idol I would think he would try to limit the BB.

You can use karaoke mode or you can do American Idol with the judges. It can be pretty tough depending on the level of difficulty. And Simon is his usual asshole self. Paula Abdul is not on there, its some girl named Laura.
