Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Cons ution, reports a drug investigation involving a cousin of Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick led police to search a residence in Virginia that is owned by Vick. However, Vick does not live there. While searching the residence, police found about 30 dogs, some of which were heavily scarred, and various paraphernalia associated with dog fighting. Vick refused comment through a Falcons spokesman. The Humane Society of the United States issued the following statement from Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO: "The Humane Society of the United States has heard troubling reports for some time that Michael Vick has been involved in organized dog fighting, and we fear that this investigation may validate that very disturbing allegation."
