CIA Pop wanted Spurs to lose. I'm absolutely convinced of it. Pop wants the 3rd seed so we can avoid Dallas in the first round.

Where is RuffnReadyOzStyle now, JV is awsome right...how you like em now...what did i say that day when he will perform in a clutch situation , we will see then, but that day you were like, oh hes so great, wow, he nothing but a third stringer, even thats genrous....
STFU . You're going to hang this on JV? Idiot. Clutch? You wanna talk clutch? How about what he did in last season's playoffs? Or weren't you out of diapers yet?

This loss had NOTHING to do with JV and everything to do with Pop, the team's poor decision-making in the second half, and their inability to nail wide-open jumpers.

You pick very strange fights indeed... but then again you are 12 years old.

As long as our D is there in the playoffs the offense will follow. We'll work it out by the playoffs.

    Is it the worst?

What about the last Sons game, when we gave it away?

What about the Boston game, when we gave away a 22-pt lead?

Or the Denver game, when we blew a double-digit lead at the half?

How about the Seattle game, when we lost to a team that had lost FOURTEEN straight?

    The last New Orleans game?

I'd say that this loss is in the Top 5 however.
Good points, okay, top 5 worst - Suns on b2b and should be tired, we played a fantastic first 30 minutes, then Pop had a brain explosion, the team lost it's rhythm and started to force bull jumpers, game over.

I guess I said it was the worst because it's so important for seeding and so close to the playoffs that we just gave a big mental edge to the Suns.

Boston game was the worst loss of the year.

Oberto and Thomas did a decent job on O'Neal so I don't understand Pop's move to have Duncan guard him in the 2nd half cause O'Neal just went off. Whether we like it or not O'Neal can guard Duncan and take him out of his game. Duncan played a pretty weak 2nd half and forced the issue. I thought he was looking for the foul call too much.

Bowen did a good enough job on Nash but he really missed some open jumpers that the Spurs needed.

Ginobli must be hurt or tired. Either way he's no use to the Spurs if he's going to force the issue. He forced shots and passes tonight. He had some nice plays with Oberto but I don't think he did a good enough job of setting up shots for other guys.

Finley didn't take enough shots. I thought his defense was pretty good tonight too. He wasn't credited for any steals but he slapped the ball away from O'Neal, Skinner twice, and broke up a sure layup by Barbosa. But we needed scoring and Finley was providing but wasn't given enough shots.

Parker was a terror in the first half but he couldn't get anything going in the 2nd half. It was a combination of the Suns not allowing him in the paint and Parker not hitting his jumpers.

We needed Thomas to hit those baseline jumpers like he did in Phoenix. He just didn't have it tonight. Oberto was a hit and miss but he should never be depended on for offense anyway.

Udoka didn't take enough shots either. I think he was 1-3 but one of those shots came in garbage minutes. His defense was pretty solid.

I was at the game tonight and it was disgusting. Just toying with Phoenix in the first quarter and a half....but that 4th quarter was just replusive. No offense whatsoever. The Spurs just could not buy a bucket. If it hadn't have happened the other night in Utah and also in Portland, I'd chalk this up as "one of those nights". However, I'm sensing that people have either decided to shut down the Spurs' offense or figured it out, or something else is happening.

Oberto did not do a good job on Shaq and I thought Bowen's effectiveness against Nash was pretty minimal.

What a depressing ing loss. This offense is just terrible. We were fine for 3qtrs and then got shut down and by the Suns of all teams. This is as mad as i have been in a long time in the reg season.
Don't be so sad. Suns have defense now, that's all.

depressing! Spurs just made the Suns look like the Pistons on defense. How in the world did we score in the paint so easily in the first half and then just get shut down in the 2nd?
Defensive switch to zone by Suns. Popovich got outcoached.

He knows that Suns are pussies. Just seeing if Amare learned his lesson from last year. Guess not.
Actually it looked like he did learn a lesson. Instead of being goaded into misbehaving by a cheap shot, he walked away.

Bowen is dirty no doubt about it.

How the was that a cheap shot???? That play happens 50 times a game in the NBA, Amare is a pussy who tried to make a big deal out of nothing. A forearm to the chest while setting a pick and he is acting like he got kicked in the balls, give me a ing break.
