Inside Texas reporting the UT coaches were hearing Watson was going to take some visits even before Banks showed up on campus, so they're obviously going to protect themselves in case there is a change of heart.

It feels like to me, that they may have been wanting a reason to go visit other schools all along and probably already have and Texas got wind of it. Texas brings Banks in as protection and the Watson's feel slighted. I think most of this will blow over as i'm sure Texas really, really wants Watson in this class, because he is the better prospect, IMO.
