Texas brought Banks in because Watson is planning other visits. Don't think that Watson is taking visits because Banks visited Texas. People are confused about this.
Yeah no Bowman, no chance for Tech.
I just hope we can beat Kansas State or Baylor

One problem is Watson's father is a big personality, and the family may want it both ways.
They are potentially taking visits while committed to UT, but they probably don't want UT talking to other corners either.
Tough situation, but it does sound like Banks is a lot more interested in UT right now than UT is in him.
Duffey may not be great, but Texas' defense is reeling.
I think it'd be close game regardless.
I agree with Tfloss. Texas defense has a way of making QBs Heiman candidates these days. There was a time the D would confuse QBs, now they're kicking their chops. No pass rush at all this season in critical situations.
It wouldn't matter who Tech ran out there at QB, this will be a close game. Texas' Defense right now can't stop the bleeding. Orlando better draw something up this week we haven't seen because Kinsbury is licking his chops after watching this D on film the last 2 weeks. Duffey maybe somewhat inept as a passer, but he does have wheels and Texas struggles, when even at its best, with the QB run game.
More than likely headed to the tree. If you see K Lewis commit in the next week or so, you'll know for sure.
All Texas will need to do is stack the box and force him to throw.
I'm not sure even the horns can screw that up
Well, if the Horns were playing Kentucky then I would agree. In fact I would stack the box with 10 and play coverage with 1. However, Kingsbury weaves a magic wand with QBs and Duffey is better than the UK QB.
OL Javonne Shepherd will be joining his trainer at the A&M game this weekend.
, even Carter kept y'all in the game last year before Shimonek finished it off.
Granted Texas' offense was totally inept, but still.
He’s more of a headache than he’s worth I think but it seems like he’s the key to Demond Demas. If we can hang on I think we flip Demas, but if we lose Shepherd then Demas is definitely following.
So you get a talented OL and a five star WR.... sounds like he’s worth the headache.
Shep's worth the headache, IMO. Demas will end up where his trainer, at the end of the day thinks he will exceed at the most. It's definitely a recruitment that will go on until signing day with a lot of twist and turns.
You may have to upgrade from the F250 to the 350 though.
Per 24/7, DE Myron Warren of Many, LA was not offered by LSU over the weekend.
He will be in Austin next weekend for the Iowa State game.

A&M 24/7 had a post this morning saying Hornsby has backed off a bit from A&M and he's definitely not a silent commitment, although he probably was at one time.
He intends on taking his time with the process and seeing some out-of-state schools, but A&M remains the favorite.
