you can't win in the nba, even against a scrub team, if you insist on keeping several of your best players on the bench in a close game.

It's my fault, guys...I checked the NBA schedule for tonight and when I saw the Spurs were playing OKC, I said to my wife, "Cool...Spurs game on tonight...they're playing the Thunder...heh...easy win!"

I just don't understand why we don't feed the ball to Timmy in that last play. Automatic double team drawn for a kickout...if not, who else do you trust on this team to make a play one on one.

Pop waited too long to bring in Bowen.
Yeah, Pop has been pissing me off with failing to put Bowen in. I mean the guy can still play D. WTF?

You guys much have been watching a different Bowen. The Bowen I saw looked like he was about to fall over and couldn't stay in front of anyone.
Face it, when your defensive ace-in-the-hole is almost 40 years old, maybe it's time to turn the page.

Thunder FG was 36%, we had 3 more rebs and find a way to lose.

Our second unit was pathetic tonight. We got a good lead in the 2nd and 3rd quarer but Ime, Hill and Mason were AWFUL
How in the world does a team shoot 36% and still win? When you're a crappy team and you play against the Spurs.

there is something seriously wrong with the spurs. even without ginobili, this should have been an easy game. ginobili returning is not going to magically solve duncan's apparent slowdown, bowen's inability to get minutes, and everyone else's general suckness.

The Spurs both deserve and earned this loss. Tomorrow they play the wolves. They are slightly better than the .273 thunder, which means the Spurs are gonna have their hands full trying to figure out how to win that one too?

Spurs and ty teams...too ing funny.

It's okay for the fans to have that mentality on game night. Not the players!!! Especially in the 4th QTR

Well. I thought it would be an easy win too. My bad.
Spurs thought it would be a cakewalk after a great 1st quarter-NOT!

    he wanted a layup
last play he had a layup

    a layup is a better % then a three
If he wanted a layup, he should have drove in as soon as he got the ball. Pump faking an open 3 to step to the right and take a contested one was just bad...

Duncan looked pretty normal out there today. A few blown calls against him, but nothing too awful.

Tony and Finley on the other hand...

Even Roger and Bonner were off.

Moral: Everyone will step up or they won't. But we need Manu.

Whatever else we do, don't go for the 3.

And put in Gooden, TD, Mason, Tony and Michael.

Even though Michael hasn't shot that great tonight, lately he's been terrific.
That's the lineup I would have went with.

It money time Pop. You ing put your best players on the court. ing stupid coaching. Pop is really stinking it up as much as his players.

Why is Parker taking shots after shots when he sucks and turnover the ball 10millon times tonight?
because nobody else can create his own shot!
