great win ...... key to the game. Artest was on J Rich like stank on . Dude didn't get his points until late.
I had that under my name during the offseason ghazi. I think it's time to put it back up.

these two are tied for "Whiny of the Day".
Just wanted to chime in on this:
PJ,Gentry(and the rest of the NBA world) knew where the LAKERS were going to go defensively....right at JRich.
CHECK
Gentry figured that Frye's perimeter game was gonna make up for those points missed.
NOT
PJ figured that if Odum showed up he'd go off on our smallish bench's frontline.
CHECK
Gentry liked the Goran/LB vs LAKERS scrub guards matchup.
CHECK
Gentry didn't have a gameplan for getting points from our starting 5 minus JRich.
OOPS
----------------
Gentry needs to decide:
1) Where to get offense from our starters. (hint) Nash/Rolo P&R.
1a) Light a fire under Amare & set screens for Nash to become a shooter.
2) What to take away from the LAKERS
1a) Kobe? No.
1b) Odum? Good idea. Gonna have to channel Red Auerbach.
1c) Gasol? Possible. Lopez will only get stronger.
1d) Artest? He looked like a smart offensive player tonight. WTF happened
there? .
Give me the clipboard!...or is it another Heineken?
Start Goran on Kobe, keep Nash on Fisher(ugh),Hill on Artest,Amare on Bynum and Lopez on Gasol.
Bring JRich off the bench w/Barbosa,Duds,Lou & Frye. Who's gonna guard JRich off the LAKERS bench? Take the pressure off of Tissue Frye to score 20 and let him settle in.
If PJ counters by starting Odum(and bringing Ron Ron off the bench to snuff JRich) then we've got some matchups we can deal with in terms of Grant Hill maybe getting off with Odum in front of him.
LAKERS executed brilliantly tonight & the SUNS were flat out outplayed & outcoached.
I'm not conceding though. We'll respond.
At least you got in the period this time without having to edit.
Nice take. The only real disagreement I have is with Lopez being able to take Pau out of it. That's just not going to happen. Lamar absolutely beasted on you guys tonight though and that is something that you guys can at least improve upon.
Hey, Moj, you can run and hide from Artest, but, Phil is at 47-0 after winning the first game of a series. How you gonna run from that?
The rest of the series? I don't know. Try to force Ron Ron coming off the bench to snuff JRich there. SUNS need to get a favorable offensive matchup w/the starting 5 and we have other capable scorers.
Tonight?.........

I made sure I typed properly.
lets make a new troll account and point out your lack of punctuation on a -posting internet message board. GET TROLLED SON
LOL Kobe will score 20 in the first ten minutes against Dragic. Game is over by the time JRIch even gets into the game. Besides, Hill made Kobe work.
Hill made him work a little in the 1st half, but the PHX team dfensive rotations were ty for the last 3 qtrs. Kobe got started in the 2nd half if i'm not mistaken.
G.Hill's a smart defender but i think Goran's got better athleticism and vertical speed.
I'm channeling back to the '92-'93 Finals when Westy put KJ on MJ(rather than Majerle) and the SUNS started winning some games after looking outmatched after going down 0-2.
Putting Dragic on Kobe isn't about stopping Kobe,it's about giving JRich the oppourtunity to score against a scrub LAKER bench.
Only 22. Look out NBA![]()
makes some more sense now.![]()
Lakers need to send another message on wednesday
& J. Rich lobbied, at length the ref afterward.
The .
Nah, I think Phil Jackson has that le locked up all day, every day.
Seriously, just because the suns shot 7 more free throws than the lakers (I'm not counting the 3 bonehead shots Hill got from Vuja ) doesn't mean . All that says is the lakers made the suns earn their points at the line while the suns stood aside and allowed the lakers easy paint points. Don't listen to re s like Lakerfan #24 and jonnybravo. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be the team not giving up easy paint points like the suns did. This of course can't be blamed on refs and must be attributed to the suns lack of pride & mettle.
The real issue is the foul disparity IMO 23-21 which favored the lakers when it should have favored the suns by a considerable margin, when considering the lakers played a much more physical brand of defense. Of the two, this is IMO a more important stat to look at as it means free possessions (and free throws once a team in the in the penalty).

ROFL @ laker fans calling me whiny after I offer analysis once the game is over when their coach is Phil Jackson is the biggest whining on the planet even before a game starts..
Myopia at its finest.
TJ, still got his worked up on 6 hours after the festivities have concluded.
Relax asshat.
I guess his asshole is still bleeding. He needs to slap a tampon on it and get on with his life.
Culburn/Giuseppe
I got called a whiny so naturally I'm going to defend myself. Whether its 6 hours later or 6 days later.
Apparently I needed to hammer home the point that being (-7) on free throws isn't as big of deal as laker fans are freaking out about. 90% of the time it simply means your not giving up as many easy baskets in the paint. And I didn't see any evidence to prove that wasn't the case in this game.
lol@butthurt cav fan, whose ass is still bleeding after that celtic freight train ran through it

swept out of the playoffs trying to talk to me. Spurfan you dont have room to talk about anyone's team. And it looks to me like you are the "butthurt" one following around laker and ing about officiating all night when not even suns fans are saying . raggggeee with jealousy spurfan.
