I have pretty much cut it out now, but it might still come out on occasion. Interesting debate. I probably picked up the word from friends and the internet when I was younger, and starting using it that way. I am trying to learn new words and incorporate them instead. I even look up some of the words you and a few of the other posters here use to improve my vocabulary.I understand that people use it to mean soft or weak, but that's a sign of the way in which sexuality has become connected with the negative in broader culture, as Macklemore says, "Gay is connected with the lesser".
And besides, not using pejorative terms like " got" encourages us all to become more creative in our use of derisive language!

I can't speak for all of the argument you guys have had, but I have to side with him on this one about the term " got."
I think you might be referring to the "holier than thou" fan approach by people like CryHavoc. If so, then I understand the frustration there.

Going back to the game, I think this was good coaching from Pop. After Splitter missed those shots, I thought it was a show of trust on Pop's part. But even then I think the bench will have to play more the way they did in the first half. Less perimeter shooting and more pick and rolls with Tiago. Taking the ball out of Neal's hands was a step in the right direction and while I liked Pop's strategy of getting Tiago the ball when the bench was under performing (though it didn't work this time), I think Pop needs to beat it into the guards. I'd rather take my chances on Tiago's pick and roll than have Neal/Green creating shots for themselves.
At least until Manu gets back (which should be soon).

You're also a cliff-jumper. When the Spurs are playing poorly you pretend you're a Knicks fan and give to our team, when playing well you're all over them. You've been running the same act for 3 years and we all know it.

There was a shot Neal jacked up in the corner where I thought that he could have passed it off to Tiago instead. Neal is ing horrible at times.
If Brent Barry wasn't so passive and had this kind of license to shoot, who knows how lethal he could have been on the Spurs. Brent was such a great passer too. He got screwed around by Pop too on defense. Neal has been horrible at times on defense, but doesn't get subbed the way Brent used to get subbed off, for just one mistake.
I hate that Pop is giving some players like Neal free reign and someone like Brent got on for one bad defensive play.

Maybe the Spurs will push harder for Derrick Williams if Kawhi misses significant time.
Also I find it contradicting and rather on the funny side that I would switch from Spurs to the Knicks when things dont look good for either team.
I mean since I'm a Knicks fan why did I lose my when Spurs ed up at home against them? And again when the Knicks won a few weeks ago?
