Rivals says he is in Lubbock this weekend.
What do you know? It still works. This message is hidden because FkLA is on your ignore list.
Leroy Scott and Chet Moss dismissed from the team... Anyone have info on why?
Consensus seems to indicate that this is old news. The result of skipping class and workouts. If so, then props to the coaching staff for pulling the trigger and making them an example. The team has been needing that, it sends the right message: work your ass off to strengthen the mind and body.

Word is weed and probably several times.
Per 24/7, OL Matthew Burrell of Woodbridge, VA is supposed to call Coach Rumph this afternoon.
An offer is expected to be extended at that time.

Some Monday notes from 24/7...
-a source is telling them that S DeShon Elliott is down to Texas and A&M with UT being the slight favorite. He is supposedly going to make a decision by the time his high school ends spring training, but I'd watch for a commitment this weekend when he visits Austin with DE Charles Omenihu.
-they are now classifying QB Jake Browning of Folsom, CA as a "serious candidate" to receive an offer.
-WR Ryan Newsome of Aledo visited Texas Tech over the weekend with his good friend, QB Jarrett Stidham. Although he's said publicly they want to play together, a source is saying Texas Tech is not a legitimate threat to land him and UT could be his leader.
-S Kahlil Haughton of Waco Midway says Texas would be one of his top schools if the interest was mutual, but he says he hasn't heard much from the coaching staff since his Junor Day visit.
Stidham is trying to pull him.
What's up with this guy and why is there already a Texas prediction on 247? Does he have some connection with a staff member?
24/7 reporting DE Isaiah Washington of New Orleans, LA will be in Austin on April 12th.
He committed to LSU last month
He has a relationship with Strong from Strong's Louisville days. He told 24/7 that Texas "most likely" would be his top school if offered. But don't expect him to shut things down any time soon. He will most likely commit sometime after his senior season.
For anyone that doesn't know, first day of spring training is today.

According to 24/7, DeShon Elliott has decided to push back his commitment date. Texas still looks like the leader in this one.
A new name to remember is QB Travis Waller of Servite HS (Cal.). The 6'3, 185 pounder has been one of the biggest risers this spring. Some of the national analysts at 24/7 says he probably has as much upside as any QB in the 2015 cycle.

And a few quotes from Waller, courtesy of 24/7.
“Stanford and Texas,” Waller said of his wish list. “Those are my top ones right now. I’m going up to Stanford’s camp in June. I’m going to do that camp, show my talents and hopefully get an offer.”
“Growing up, I was a big Texas fan so I was always watching their games a lot,” he said. “I like their style of play for sure. They utilize the quarterback a lot and I definitely believe I can help them win games. Right now my coach is trying to reach out to them so hopefully he’ll get back to me."
