Holy . I know why he did the staredown now. That was a ass gay move by Evans grabbing Boban's on the way down. He lucky he only got a staredown. I knew Evans had to do something to Boban because Boban doesn't just do that out of nowhere.

Also, what's with opponents grabbing the s of our players? Remember Smart and Bonner last year? I guess we just some long s.

Evans is fortunate he only got the Staredown. Boban could have pounded him on the head like Fred flintstone.

I hope the Spurs send this to the league so Boban's fine is reversed and Evans gets one.

Didn't look intentional. Boban was more pissed from the previous foul(s) that was not called, I think.

Patty should be the one complaining. He deserves at least dinner and a movie before that.

he'll learn. More smarts, more "corporate knowledge", more at ude.

Right now, I think he's in Wonderland still, amazed at USA, San Antonio, NBA, the $$$, and now a first baby approaching.

Once "The Thrill is Gone", I hope he gets down to serious business, sharing prime, active responsibility for the game, rather than reactively just going along for the ride.
Would you still like him though? Wouldn't that make him evil?

When Boban realizes he can physically create space down low, he will really become a force. Right now he still tries to finesse everything.

He still doesn't quite know how much he can get away with. That will come with experience.

He also needs to adjust to the kind of defender on him. So if its this human pogo stick evans, then all he needs is a simple pump fake rather than trying to rush his shot.

Why do people think that people go crazy over Boban b/c he is a Circus act. Knicks fan go crazy over Kristap as well.

You just don't expect a 7'3" 1/2 almost 300 lb guy to pass, shoot, and move that well. Boban man handles people. He makes them look like little kids to JV players out there. That is fun to watch. The NBA really hasn't had a player like Boban since the decline of Shaq. I have to say I like Boban b/c he is different. But not a circus act different. Guys like Simmons, who I think is exciting as well, are far more common than players like Boban. Boban provides that shock and awe because you just don't expect and very rarely see a guy that big play that fluidly. You expect Mosgov type of player. I think LMA has best reactions on the bench when it comes to Boban (also watch Mavs highlights). Like the last play of the video. Dude, I don't think any another player on this team could have made that shot, or the very least made that shot look so smooth. This is why people love Boban TBH.

I like the article saying Cheer the man when he earns it, not his based off his appearance. He has the 2nd highest PER in the league behind Curry. I think the stats show he has earned that praised.

The Spurs really do offer an ideal situation for Boban.

Here is the highlights from last night's game. It was a disappointing 1st half and that wasn't Boban's fault. I counted about 4x Boban had established positioned deep in the paint on his man and for some reason no one fed him the ball. They didn't start doing that until the 4th quarter. I guess Pop didn't want Boban going for like 30 last night.

    Is this Boban's first double-double?

Indeed unstoppable in the paint. Defense has to put a body on him and that frees up the lane.

It is crazy how the Spurs just blowout teams. Spurs just took 14 3 point attempts and they still score 117 points and blow out the Suns by nearly 30 points. It's like when the US team plays internationally. Most games are just blowouts.

Yes, and his PER is only .07 off from Curry's after last night's game. Impressive thing is is like half of his rebounds came against Chandler.

Feel sorry for Chandler... his legs might have felt like Jello come the fourth quarter.

Even if Boban never gets the ball on offense, his constant pressure takes a toll on any defender.

Spurs have such a deep bench that I hope they exploit that in the playoffs by just wearing down the opponent.

    Tim, LaMarcus, David W, Boban

    With a dash of Boris.

    Lavishly assembled front court.

Advanced stats show Boban in the upper echelon of elite players. Of course the sample size is small, but hey:

Lol at many idiots criticizing Boban for not dominating Lebron and the Cavs in his first game.

He did pretty well for his first outing vs championship compe ion.

His wife and kids just came to San Antonio. Not sure if for good but seems like bad timing considering the Rodeo Road Trip.
