There are guys who seem like cancers who totally buy in when they get to a good team. TJ Ford comes to mind. If Gay really did have the reaction RC said he did, maybe he understands it. As I've been saying, he could be looking for an Iggy pivot. We'll see. That it was only a one-year deal isn't great for that narrative.

He went from mediocre star to super role-player in one off-season. Of course, he was always a good passer, and he got paid. Gay isn't quite there yet in any of those terms, but he seemed to be moving that way. West and again Ford are other Spurs-related examples.

I don't think Dworst was that special in all honesty...
