They actually just started putting him in the starting lineup like a game ago too. He's putting numbers up but they ain't winning...
Wizards without Wall just stole one in Minnesota..
I know the schedule has been piss-easy for most part, but is quite amazing that the Spurs are 3rd seed out West, and still within striking distance of HOU/GSW, despite Kawhi missing the first 25 games or so of the season..
You can also finish a defensive possession with a turnover. But that's only around 13% of the time so your point is still valid, defensive rebounding is really important.
Pau is like late career Tim, he can play good defense "in a phone booth" (as Chinook likes to say) but struggles otherwise. Pau isn't nearly the vocal leader that Tim was on defense, but his strengths and limitations are similar.
not to mention Thibs: Taj Gibson (41 minutes), Towns ( 39 minutes) Butler (38 minutes), and Wiggins (37 minutes), yet still taking an L to a Wall-ess Washington and Beal (7 points) with a B2B in New Orleans awaiting..
This dude is a vastly overrated coach, IMO..
Draymond behaves a million times worse than that every single game and never gets ejected.
Who in the flying do these guys think they are?
The real owners of the nba... thanks playerfans
Plus the backup PG (who is starting because Teague is Thibbed) with 40 minutes. He is so against playing his reserves that even a perennial 6th man award winner can't get more than 16/18 minutes under him.![]()
Meanwhile the Knicks win in another blowout tonight and have a winning record 21 games into the season. Dat #MeloEffect
Warriors just don't give a about taking care of the ball sometimes.![]()
Why bother when you can just decide to win a game later on?
Lakers' youth showing at the end of regulation. They had the game on the bag, all they needed to do was paying extra attention on defending the three after that 3pt play from KCP.
Lakers spamming the iso on the final moments of the game. Walton failed to come up with the goods.
Two Curry threes.
Just like that, game over.
Game was over after Curry's 3s. Brandon Ingram cost the Lakers this game with his play tbh.
I blame Walton for his ty playcalling. In fact, I blame him for calling a TO when the Lakers had the advantage on the break on the last possession of the game.
As they said: threw away a good scoring game from Lonzo...
Here's Antonio Daniels commenting on the OKC situation
