Man, that shot you hit up the middle was nice! I think we could have never taken a swing and gotten 29048249840938430984 runs the way that girl was pitching.
I was especially impressed by Katy making a double out of a single on a painful foot. That was awesome!
That was so fun.....and I am whipped from my million trips back and forth to right field.
And I'm glad I didn't take off the pitcher's head...her name was Christy too...so I was getting twice the encouragement when I was at bat.

When we practice again, we need to pitch from the plate that is furthest back. A lot of us had all kinds of ed up timing today.

I came in and just gushed on and on to my 72 year old room mate about the game and how awesome you all were.

The game after us were both teams in our league, Team Texas and The Replacements. Talk about some compe ion.
I'm not too worried Katy. They all had matching uni's but they didn't look amazing. We looked as good as they did fielding out there.

I did not see that. Thats pretty funny though.
We did really well in the field. I had that one grounder I ed up and we had a ball that went over the outfields heads, but other than that I can't think of any ups. I was very impressed.
It is awesome that our middle infield is so good between the girls. I dig it a lot.
Chris is awesome at 1st base, by the way. The play when Andrew stopped a grounder back to him and than ing shot it to 1st and Chris caught it like nothing, impressive.
he plays catch with me...he has a lot of practice being on his toes.
The team looked very good today. Especially defensively.
Sandra had a great stop. (And you weren't out at 2nd!) Matthew and Mandy had good plays. Everyone played well.

I'll submit one suggestion:
I need to be lowered in the batting lineup and LJ and/or Chris should be put ahead of me. Whitney and I went and practiced after the game and I think I have it all worked out, but until I figure it out in the game, I should be lowered and other people more deserving should be raised. I left a rediculous amount of people on base today and it will kill our team in a close game.
Commentary:
Kori thinks LJ is the best hitter on the team, but I think that's disputable. Chris and Matthew had good debuts. I still have something to say about that in the future, but we will see. Also, I especially can't forget Brandon and Andrew. Those two are awesome hitters. This game I know I went 0-3 and LJ had at least 1 solid hit so he's definitely ahead of me so far.
For the record, I don't think LJ is dominatingly better than anyone else or anything.
Most of the guys are very good hitters.
