What word did he use that required a dictionary?

Or are you just that stupid.

Nothing like troll smack from opposing teams' fans to bring two members of the forum who typically spend quality time kicking each other all over the place, together.

This is really a beautiful moment for me.

I understand that last night's game was very heated and emotions were running high - however, Terry has only himself to blame for the suspension.

Michael Finley did not even talk about the incident after the game - Coach Pop said he wasn't even aware of it happening. But the video guys brought it to their attention and the tape was sent to the league for review.

Mavs fans have a right to be pissed, but don't be pissed at David Stern - be pissed at Jason Terry for pulling such a boneheaded stunt at such a crucial point in the playoffs.

It's because they're not boring - is that why you hate the Mavs?

And why should Manu have any time to to the refs? I loved it when JET took the ball away from The Nose.
you are an idiot if you call this team boring.
This team has 5 All-Stars. We have added a former All-Star Dunker if you still remember Brent Barry. And we just don't rely on defense to win games we can score too! Fans just don't vote a player to the All-Star bec they're good but also because they can entertain team. And look what who got invited to recent all star events-Tim, Manu, & Tony....

Check also the baller of the year or the NBA Jams, or other NBA Entertainment video you can see some Spurs there.

you read so much crap. Watch the Spurs and they can actually entertain you. And teach you how to play real basketball just like Detroit Pistons.
Of course I can't say much if you prefer dunks over that.

BTW I am happy Terry got suspended

I wasn't aware that numerous Spurs fans posted that. I recall it being one bag. Seriously, do Mavs fans even read or think before posting?
Did I say they did? Just stating that Spurs fans have there bad apples too.

But really, this guy is all shock value. Sort of funny. Doesn't bother me, but I'm sure it does some people on here, Mavs/Spurs fans alike.

Please don't hang your hat on that. I was at that compe ion. Slam dunk les are nothing to brag about. People have to remind Barry that the rim is orange because of all the time he spends away from it.

Man I'd be so pissed at Jason Terry if I was a Mavs fan.

Wait, no, if I was a Mavs fan I'd be too stupid to realize who the blame should fall on, and I'd try to blame Stern or some .

Besides that, watching Duncan transformed into Beast (a.k.a. the best player in the league) is the best thing in basketball. If you don't see the beauty in what he does... than you are probably not objective at all and he is destroying your team at the moment.

Cuban is worried because if touching an NBA players nuts once will get you a suspension, he's headed for the death penalty.

    Sorry, but....

Wow, finally got to the end. This thread is a doozy!

This game has a strong chance of being surprisingly compe ive.
This game was always going to be compe ive. Two great teams, no surprise here.

Do spurs fans really want an asterisks win? I would think they would want the full mavs team to be there and beat them with that instead of taking out Dallas's second option on offense.
Why don't you wait until you've actually won ANY le before you try talking smack about an * win. Also, there are tons of Spurs fans who'd rather play them at full strength.

Cuban also said just because Terry's hand was closed, doesn't mean it was a punch.
I know it's been said before but

This thread is a classic simply for the Mav fans posts trying to argue about varying degrees of nut punches. He got punched in the friggin nuts, people! I have internal ovaries and I know that hurts. WTF!?
At this point, it's whatever makes them feel better.

Ever since Cuban took over ownership of the Mavs he's been pushing for the league to improve the quality of the officiating and enforcement of the rules...publicly.

At the end of the day this episode begins and ends with Jason Terry.
He sure isn't doing himself any favors with his current tirade. Yes, by all means, defend your players. But man up when they're wrong. If you want better officiating, good calls will go against you at times too.

And I couldn't agree more. Dallas fans should be mad at Terry, not the NBA, not Stern.

For every Mavs fan that is saying this is BS, can I come punch you in the nuts and then ask you again what you think of the suspension?
Let us know if you get any volunteers!

"Unbelievable. When it's all (said) and done, this series could end up being talked about for all the wrong reasons."
Yeah, and it starts with this. There hasn't been any talk about the the officiating in previous games. And how he sees this as a wrong when the rules are written in black and white is beyond me.

yeah im listening to grant napear on 1140 and he think stu jackson isnt qualified for his job and that this is one of the best series in a long time and stu just messed it up. he said they should just let the guys play.
They should have let the guys play from the get-go. This series would have been classic for all of the right reasons, instead of all of the wrong ones.

Dallas fans, face it. He broke a rule. He was suspended. It's black and white. He ed up. It's his fault.

It will still be a great Game 6. Look forward to seeing you back here for Game 7.

there is no need trying to say anything to these homers about thier favorite team. they dont think manu is a flopper and bowen is a dirty player. so do you think they will agree with you about parker having no class? no. parker made the same facial expressions terry made after the spurs went up by ten. i dont hear any spurs fans talking about that. you ing homers are terrrible.

Excuse me. This board belongs to us ' ing homers'. Why are you here?

What I don't understand, is what the Mavs fans are trying to complain about as far as Finley doing something illegal during the play. Pile Drive?

    Say what?
    No .

Diving for loose balls is not a foul. Punching loose balls is.

Just saw the video from several angles on NBA tv and ESPN and ran it slo-mo. Terry definitely punched Fin in the stomach area but it was in such close quarters, it wasn't that hard of a hit. Fin's midsection certainly moves upward but it wasn't thrown from a position of leverage. Fin doesn't pile-drive Jason. He reaches down and grabs the basketball and falls down and makes contact with Jason's head with his rear. Terry reacts by punching upward into the mid-section.

It was a weak punch as a reaction but since the NBA has a closed fist rule, Jason is at their mercy. Do I think it's fair. No. A fineable offense, maybe.

I guess I'm a little old school but if it's not something that could really injure someone if the punch connects, maybe you fine him. The reaction was the same as Bowen kicking Allen as a retaliation frustration move.
Thanks for a balanced synopsis. I couldn't see that level of detail on the web video I saw -- I could just see his arm move up for a punch.

Got to admit of all the owners only Mark could come up with inferring Terry might be rubbing Finley's ball with a closed fist.

Maybe he was hoping for 3 wishes?

Finally saw the reverse angle during the Clipper/Sun game on ESPN. Yep. It was a punch. I think they will show it again at halftime.
