I'm sorry to bump this, but a 24 pts, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 45 minutes of action, and a double overtime game winning shot deserves this.
Actually you should have bumped Tim's Ditka thread (that doesn't exist). Manu was good in the end, but he didn't have an awesome game (despite the stats).

i think he did enough knowing he's hurt and preserving himself for the rest of the run.

Oh he did way more than enough, he was clutch as and he's obviously hurt. I'm just saying that this wasn't a game worthy of a Ditka bump

He also took it to Shaq in the paint a few times when Shaq wasn't letting Duncan do anything down low for a little while.

Not to mention that most of Manu's points came in the clutch time!

He had a bunch of lay ups in the overtimes...plus the winning play. And he was the one who gave that huge assist to an open Timmy for a three.

So I'd say this was a very good game by Manu. Very clutch.

Obviously, Timmy is the hero today! But Manu really came through. Even TD himself had said that he did NOT want to have to have another overtime! So Manu's clutch play after Nash's clutch play was amazing and deserves the credit as do his other clutch time plays in the double overtime!

Bump- You didn't play well tonight Manu, but a promise is a promise and I a man of my word. You made your freethrows when they counted.

So here's to you Manu Ginobili.

Manu is the "most popular person in all of Argentina" per ESPN tonight and loved by all Spurs fans everywhere - what a performance on a bad ankle!
