And Melinda messed up the words on the last song. It was kind of funny...we had to watch it a few times. That sucks but I don't think anybody noticed (except us of course). She's still great though.

IMHO, Belinda is the most talented singer with Jordan a close second and Blake....I have no idea why he is still in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if this were judged by a panel of judges instead of the fans, Blake would've been sent packing a long time ago..period!

There is a question about whether she messed up her lyrics or not. I read that there was a mic /tech problem, no matter Melinda should win this thing hands down. Even on fumbled lyrics(if she did) she knew how to recover and still sound great! I recorded the show and replayed that part in question over and over, still couldn't tell anything.
Eh Melinda is great, but, she just doesnt have any excitement.

rr2418, I believe she did screw up the lyrics. We watched it a few times and she mumbled everything but the "1 to 9" part.
I'm with t_park... Melinda is great. I really enjoyed her all season but she is kind of boring.
I love Blake!! I'm glad he's still there. When he auditioned I loved him and was hoping he'd do good. But either way... all 3 are great and (hopefully) will have large album sales.
So we all think Jordin will win but we want blake to win right???
Nooooooooo! I don't know about "we", but "I" want Melinda to win b/c she can sing anything and has the best vocals. So what if she's boring or just standing still when she's singing, the girl can sing!! I'm not basing my voting on cd sales, being exciting onstage, or singing "current" songs. I'm going for the "best" vocals, and that's Melinda!

That's just the difference. Going for who will sell more, who has the best voice, who has the most appeal is all different. It's all been done on AI. Kelly sells more records than Justin, even if he was more appealing than her (at the time..not now). Fantasia had a better voice than who ever she was against (kill me for forgetting), but she's on Broadway now instead of winning grammies like Carrie or Kelly. If "we" want Jordin to win that's voting for who, at least imo, will sell the most records whereas voting for Melinda is voting for the person who does, indeed have the best voice. I, myself, have wanted Jordin to win from the second I saw her.

That's pretty stunning ... but I'm not totally surprised. I have thought Jordin would win for a while now.
