Spurs are never going to beat Denver on the boards consistently.
But they do absolutely have to play better interior defense.
And Tim has to man up and finish at the rim and stop throwing up weak hoping it'll go it.

Right now I think Manu is our best defensive player tonight. That's not a good thing folks.
Unfortunately, he is also one of our worst offensive players today, except for Tim and Fin.
Oberto is much better than Elson in this series. Its just the way it is. I said it earlier, Elson's early buckets were fools gold. Oberto is still the better matchup and better defender against this team.

Oberto isn't going to play 24 minutes in the second half, folks. We should be really happy that the centers are rounding into form at the right time.
They have got to regain control of the pace and must rebound better. When their defense clamped down, they managed to get control of their offense. If they settle, recognize that they aren't getting help from the refs, and focus on D, the offense will come.
If they continue to around and force their shots or jack up bad shots and allow Nene and Camby and co to dominate the rebounds they will lose.
It's pretty simple. Take control and dominate. Stop playing as if this game didn't matter. It does. Every game matters. Go back up 2 instead of tied. It's a much better place to be. This game should be telling. Do they want it or not? Denver does. Let's decide if you do, Spurs. If you do, you'll take control back and stop asking for it to be handed to you.
