Their defense has been great, but not suffocating like it can be. In the championship years, they used to own the 3rd.

I ing hate it when we hold the ball and try to run out the clock. Whether it's Manu or Parker, we NEVER seem to make a basket OR draw a foul. Never. It's a waste of a critical possession. Every time.

What I don't like about this first half is that the big three did all the scoring aside from two easy gimme baskets (1 from Elson, 1 from Oberto). I don't care if the big three combine for 100 and we still win the game, but if the game continues like this and we don't get bench production in the second half, we might not be so lucky.
Great game from Manu so far, though. It's good to see him get going early. It would be great for us if he could have a huge 4th quarter again, or just stay consistent in the second half. If Manu can play well in consecutive games, there may be hope for him yet in these playoffs.

I'd much rather we take a GOOD shot with 6seconds on the clock than a terrible shot with 1 second. Cause that's 2 points, and then trust the D to get a stop on the other end. If I were a coach, I would NEVER do that "run the clock down" crap.

I agree we need more bench, but it seems to me that if Manu, Tony and Tim all stay hot, we are in good shape. If we continue to try the 3's they will start to fall. Then it is all over. We need to buckle down on D in the second half and shut Stopawhiner down.
