Manu was our best player for the first month and a bit, but since then and overall I'd say TP's consistency and great play has him as the Spurs MVP.
Exactly, people need to stop sucking Manu's balls and realise his shooting has been terrible.

Well if I know Pop, he will definitely have the guys ready to play tonight, hopefully George has a good game and we can win a fairly easy game. Would hate another grind out contest.

Well, the last time we crapped the bed like that (against Philly), we came out gunning the next game and blew out the other team. Spurs will win huge tonight. Book it.

Turnovers, however, weren’t the only problem. Popovich’s analysis of his team’s performance was a 38-second soliloquy, after which he turned on his heels and disappeared into the coach’s room.

“It wasn’t just the turnovers,” he began. “It was the offensive boards, the lack of focus. I thought Memphis had better focus.

“They played more physically than we did, more aggressively. They wanted the game more than we did, and that showed in a variety of ways.

“It was a pretty pathetic performance on our part. It was mostly due to their aggressiveness and how much they wanted the game.

“It was a disappointing night and not something to be proud of.”
