So my parents house has this giant grandfather clock, that I've seen all my life but never really paid attention to, but that I knew my mom absolutely HATED! She called it "that monstrosity" lol. Now that she's gone however, I notice it a lot because it chimes, I mean it gongs some intricate gong patterns every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. This morning I finally asked my dad if that thing ever got on his nerves. He said "Yea it sure does. But it's comforting in a way. It's like still having your mom around!" LOL!!
