I didn't check the box score till after the game and I would never have guessed Boban scored 11 pts by watching the game. Maybe it's because he gets to the line so much.

Danny on the 4 point play: Luckily the 3 went in because I probably would have been subbed out.

Time to lay an egg in Orlando tomorrow.
They can live with it. Important thing is not starting the RRT 0-2.

He also doesn't insist on reverse layups when he's wide open & doesn't shoot airball hook shots while be defended by a guard
As key and valuable as he was for us, I'm glad we've moved on from that, tbh.

Silver lining. The team was relying too much on Tim and Manu. They needed to gel as a team of their own and sprout their own wings and make their own legend. At the rate we were going the younger or new guys were not going to be ready and the vets would have broken down. It wasn't something they were going yo do voluntarily, step back, but they had to.

Hopefully when the vets come back these guys keep rolling.
I like this post and agree the new and younger guys had to find their own mojo!

Husband demanding attention with all sorts of stuff ... let's keep it private.... Boban reviews? After the game?
Boban played pretty well, especially considering his minutes were very meaningful. It seemed like he played more minutes than he did. And it seemed like he didn't shoot the ball as well as he usually does, although I just checked out his stats, and they show he was 3 of 5 from the floor and 5 of 7 from the line. I think the two shots he missed from the floor were shots he usually makes. Hassan hit some athletic shots against him which is to be expected. He showed some good hands, IMHO. Got called for a couple of fouls that I thought were bogus - one on a blocked shot high and one on a steal low. I have just started to understand that as big as he is, Boban is not particularly strong. I mean body strength, although his hands are not as strong as I imagined. He got the ball slapped away from him when he had both hands on it a time or two. He is starting to lose a little of his luster with me. While I still like him, I think he is pretty much at his ceiling. If we did work a trade at the deadline, he would be a guy that I would favor trading over our younger prospects.

Totally aside: I just saw a Simmons highlight when he drove to about 6 feet, pump faked and drained the shot - over Gerald Green, IIRC. A good move for Simmons to use more. He is usually committed to taking it to the rack. A little variety and his game could skyrocket.
