I already talked about that above.

I live in South Lake Charles. Weather doesn't seem that bad so far.
The rain is dumping to your NW right now.
Crazy.
In Texas most of the rain dumped to the E and NE of the storm.
You just need it to move on and not meander around for days.
My parents stay around Beaumont and its bad there. Water up to the porch.
Beaumont and Port Arthur have got it bad and the places around the Texas-LA border.
I worry that so much attention is on Houston, that interest will wane now that the rain has moved on. Read something that said 100% of homes in Port Arthur have been affected by flood.
My uncle's house in Bridge City flooded. Thankfully he got his vintage Trans-Am out of there.
Please tell me he also rocks a mullet.
Just got off the phone with my mom. Nearly everyone's houses are underwater due to the fact they evacuated the flood control station and there is no one pumping the water out of the city. The water is still up to her porch and They are trying to wave down a rescue boat.
Yeah its bad over there.
Sorry to hear that. Are you anywhere near enough to get there?
I can't get anywhere around there. It's impassable to get into Port Arthur unless someone has a monster truck.
Just read that the Arkema Chemical plant has no power and supposedly in danger of exploding.
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/30/arke...explosion.htmlRichard Rowe, who is CEO of the company's North America unit, told reporters the company expects chemicals on site to catch fire or explode within the next six days. He said the company has no way to prevent a fire or potential explosion near the plant that is swamped by about six feet of water.

Have the Houston Astro's and other local Baseball Teams already been released into the water? I think they could be very useful as buoys.
Energy Secretary Rick Perry announced Thursday that he authorized 500,000 barrels of crude oil to be drawn down from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The reserve is made up of a complex of tanks and deeper [[[[[[[[[underground storage caverns.]]]]]]]]]The move is aimed at shielding Americans from gasoline prices, which have begun to rise sharply due to a shortage of gasoline caused by refinery shutdowns. Port closures have also left refineries still operating with less access to crude oil shipments.
Old black lady praising God for answering her prayers as she boarded the rescue boat. Not once thinking about why God is letting this happen.

Symbolic gesture. That's not going to make a blip in anything.
