Looked that way at times, but it seemed more like he was out of breath than anything else. I know people were hyping up the French league, and I'm sure its good, but the speed of NBA athletes as a whole is on another level. He'll have to figure that out.

C- is generous brotha… 2-13 from the field. 4 turnovers, multiple missed layups, 1/6 from 3 including an air-ball, etc. That was about as bad an offensive debut as anyone could’ve imagined tbh.
Thankfully his defense was great despite that poster.
Best thing is this will end up as a 30-plus page game thread for a summer league game—TimVP making bank!
Theyre gonna have to reconcile the fact that he loves to put the ball on the floor with some of the obvious disadvantages of someone his size doing that. Ideally he shouldnt be putting that ball down much at all.
Tough game for Wemby but you can see the talent. He looked really tired to me. Hopefully we see him Sunday though as I will be there!
They never got him the ball on the move. Almost everything was iso from the three point line. They’ll use him more effectively during the season.

Great shooting from the FT line @ 100%. You could tell his legs were turning to rubber as the game went on and his wind wasn’t there. He’ll Learn you can’t dribble into a crowd & not get stripped of the ball. Neither he or his teammates knew what the others were doing. Lots of blocks for playing away from the basket so much. Good passer. Needs more conditioning, and more conditioning, and some more conditioning.
Brian Wright might want to think about finding a point guard not named Tre Jones. No one could get Wemby the ball on the move - and I’m not sure anyone on the main roster can either.

I agree. If you can't come back from a sub-par Summer League game, then you've got problems. He'll bounce back.

Sochan, Keldon, Champagnie. Spurs have a solid 3 core right there.
