Yesterday, I took the kids I was baby sitting to Fiesta Texas.
While there, I pointed out to them different signs with Bugs Bunny on them. The oldest child is six and had no clue who Bugs is!

Later we ran into the costumed characters Pepe the skunk and Porky the Pig.
Again, no clue!

I thought that was really strange until I realized that Looeny Toons aren't
(that I can find) on television any more.

Having one of my childhood favorites retired from the air ways before I have even had one kid, makes me feel incredibly old.

Have you seen the cartoons they play now for kids?! My tv is stuck on Cartoon Network when I have to babysit and that Billy & Mandy show with the grim reaper... wtf. They have weird cartoons on nowadays. I wonder if my nephew even understands the storylines.
