TD did go 12-12 in last season's playoff and was perfect at halftime, but int he 2nd half he missed some shots so it ruined the perfect FG %
I just heard on ESPN that Oberto's 11-11 is a new Spurs record...so I guess Duncan didn't do it before (although they could be wrong...I'm too lazy to check online).

the Spurs-Suns game is always a classic!
plus these guys are all good guys and respect each other. there was no hard foul on anybody or flagrant or something. just playing their best game.
and into OT.
to Suns even if you lost.
Duncan was incredible at crunch time tonight.
The problem is you are blind.
probly spurs reg season record. fu
Fixed it for ya!![]()
SPURS WIN YA!!!
MANU needs to DRIVE MORE
Oberto was crazy good
Duncan good but missed crucial free throws
parker good job
bowen good job
elson finely need more minutes
as a team in the 4th qt and Ot wow great job, real impressive but the rest of the game eh medicore to above average.
Good win, Spurs improve 4-1, still very early in this season
he's ALWAYS good so sometimes we tend to forget his contribution
26 pts; 14 rbds; 6 assts![]()
Oh I wish I was a San Antonio Spurs fan...
They've won the le to the tune of three...

Congrats, again...
You have to admit the refs handed you guy's the game. Twenty-five free throw attempts to six. Pathetic. What happened to the no whining rule? Guess it doesn't apply to the Spurs. Yes, Raja missing that crucial freethrow at the end killed us and also Marion and Diaw letting Oberto look like a superstar did not help either but it gets frustrating to another team when the refs let the other team waltz to the free throw line a lot. When the Sun's start getting their rythm back this year then they will win games like these. Amare played well in his limited time on the court. When Diaw wakes up and we integrate our new guys in the game better we will be a lot better. It is not like the Spus blew us out. Just count yourself lucky that you got home cooking tonight!
hehe
to Raja Bell. that 3pt shot could have cost us the game.
i just wonder where the Matrix disappeared for awhile![]()
Are you really a Suns fan? Because if you truly were, you'd realize that the FT differential is in no way indicative of the refs "handing" the Spurs the game. Last year, Suns were last in the league in FTA. Same the season before. It's hard to foul a team that relies so much of jumpshooting and 3 point shooting.
i can see us winnin the next 7 games, catchin 3-4 teams on b2b nights = easy win, next. blazers, kings and rockets will have a day off in between but i can see us lightin them up for a win....
Huh?
Most of Oberto's points came from uncontested layups.
Even though he made 15 ft shots, he usually misses those so, no don't let Oberto shoot but feed him the ball.

Unfortunately for me, I came in right in the midst of their fourth-quarter collapse and caught just thhe parts where they fell apart, coming together just long enough to not only rip my heart out, but then jump on it in fits of rage because they, to barrow a line from The Eagles, "just can't kill the beast"...
So, I said all that to say this, I don't even know if 'trix showed up at all![]()
I am waiting for Timmy to face his man up and start using his bank shot again. You know he is healthy by the way he is moving and his post game is all there, he just needs to get that bank going again.
The refs didn't hand us the game. Look how many 3's PHX took and SA has a TRUE post player that can get to the line, not an athletic big man that dunks. That's the reason for the disparity in the ft's
Handed? Tim Duncan missed two free throws and Raja Bell blew one and Nash ed it up at the end. The Suns have no one to blame but themselves. Only pussies blame the refs.
Anyone noticed how Manu started attacking after he hit that jumper inside the arc?
Yeah what they said![]()
sumone send a memo to D'Antoni, to get rid of the n D in his name plz, i see no D what so ever on the suns team
once again halfcourt>small ball
lets hope pop understands this and not go small for small against small ball clubs....aka ponies in dallas
The Spurs got Elson specifically so they wouldn't have to go small versus Dallas.
Yep, I taught him that!
Yes, I am a Sun's fan. If I remeber correctly the Spurs did not go to the line much last year either. Nash was being bumped like a pin ball tonight and there were questionable offensive fouls on some of our guy's tonight. Mr. Floppy was out of bounds when he threw in the ball at one time and Duncan was on the out of bounds line one time and the refs did not call him out of bounds. Stuff like that adds up eventually. Yes we made stupid mistake at the end but it was a freethrow parade by the Spurs for the same type of fouls that the Spurs comitted on the Suns. We had quite a few points in the paint so that does not mean we just shot outside tonight. Admit it, you would not have been in the game except for the freethrows. Your team shot horribly tonight.
I heard on ESPN it's a Spurs record (11/11 that is)
