I should just leave this forum until Friday. Reading all of the stupid takes is just going to annoy me more.
You should, yet somehow you'll still be here at three o'clock in the morning arguing about how a bonner 3 attempt in a tie game was a great coaching call and had no bearing on the outcome of the game.

Why did they have to take a 3 at the end of regulation?
Even a good 3 point shooter has less than a 50/50 chance of making it.

What the is wrong with the Spurs?! They have no passion, no heart and no sense of urgency. This screwing around for 3 quarters and then trying to win it in the 4th is getting reeeeeaaaaallllllllyyyyy old. They let themselves get down 17 and then think they can just turn it on whenever. I hate to say it, but this team reminds me of the Lakers after they won their 3rd championship. Remember how they would screw around and then think they could flip the switch whenever they wanted - didn't work for them and it won't work for us! What does Pop have to do to motivate this team?

If I were Pop, I would work these guys butts off - no mercy. Running drills, shooting drills until they can't lift their arms and then make them shoot till they make 50 freethrows in a row! They needed to be treated like rookies!

Because winning by three gives you so much more momentum.

Why do scrub-level players seem to always go off on the Spurs?

Maybe because they're tired of being perceived as *scrubs* who can't hang with the better teams? The media hypes who it wants to hype, everyone else has to scramble for kudos.

I could not watch the game, but as I look at the box score the stat that jumps out at me is Bowen's lack of offensive production!

OK some will say that he is in for defense primarily, but it is always like playing 4 against 5 especially if he did not SHUT DOWN anyone on the opposing team!

They're too old to run their asses off. This is a team full of veterans, and I don't know how you motivate them at this point. They've heard it all so it all comes down to desire.

How do you not foul when they get the ball back with 11 seconds to go?!?! And guess how they got the ball back .... SMALL BALL. Forces Finley to grab a rebound and he's the worst rebounder on the team. How the do you go to small ball when you need a stop and a board? Especially when the person who is killing you is Blount. Got damn.

And not fouling, that was the laziest thing I've seen. Duncan just looked at Garnett. It took Bowen like five seconds to start running after him. And Finley not only didn't get the rebound he didn't foul Hassell or chase after anyone.

He's in a mini-shooting slump. He played great D on Ricky Davis. You wouldn't know because you didn't watch.

That was a horrible ending to an otherwise pretty good showing by the Spurs. But man, that ending was sick.

I honestly see the Spurs as a 4/5 seed come playoff time if they continue to play like this!

They will also lose to the likes of Wizards, Nuggets and other athletic teams who are on the horizon!

Duncan has a monster game, Manu and Tony play pretty good also, the Spurs only have 4 turnovers, and we still lose the game! That's really heartbreaking.

It only seems to happen against the Spurs in all of these crushing losses all year, is what I mean.
