no. I play basketball myself and like the contact. Amore is a ing baby.
LOL. comparing your pickup games to someone who makes millions of dollars playing the game is absurd. NOt to mention the fact that he spent all of last year on the shelf due to an injury and nobody wants to see him there again. Dude was just looking out for himself. Did he do it the right way? Its debatable.

And I don't need to read 26 pages of bull to prove it.
There some pretty humorous stuff in there...but I don't blame you.

Who gives a rat's ass whether you like "contact"?

Your admitted preference for "getting physical" with other sweaty guys aside, what does this have to do with Duncan being injured by another player?

Look, accidents happen. Someone talked about all the phsysical contact Bowen plays with throughout a season, and the lack of injuries that results.

If he really was "dirty", there would be a lot more injuries, and he would be suspended, end of story.

Every year, players call out Bowen, trying to get the refs to call more fouls on him. And it usually works. As I said in another thread, expect Bowen to pick up 3 early fouls tomorrow because of all this.

    Well you did say

“Sure someone is dirty and a coward for pulling sneaky crap, just that it wasn't Bowen

    and

“I find it incredible how people can actually claim bowen can look at, aim, and successfully deliver a kick to target as small as a person's achilles heel, in a timespan that spans only 2 frames in super slow motion, which, if correct in most cases, is about 2/31 of a second.”

But in that same span of time, YOU can determine that he didn't?

    Clear enough for you now?

And splitting hairs over the word "kick" is pointless as well. Clearly, the video shows contact. Amare thought it was intentional, so does it matter what word you use? Kick, stomp - whatever.
I have never argued intent, I argued that no contact was ever made. And no, I have no idea how my two quotes would somehow translate to me inferring intent.

You're an idiot. As said before, Bowen kicks amare, and then that image is captured after he plants his foot AFTER THE KICK! Amare then jumps very oddly with crappy elevation and lands bizarrely because the kick totally messed up his jump.
I suggest you Amare supports / Bowen executioners talk it over. Does the picture show:
    a) Bowen kicking Amare's left heel, or
    b) Bowen done kicking Amare's right heel, and then planting his foot?

    Bad try.

Look at the back of Amare's left foot.
So first it was Bowen kicking Amare's right foot, causing him to throw his leg up during the dunk, and came down hobbling on his RIGHT leg, now, with the video, and the fans apparent inability to understand the difference of a 3D world and a 2D picture, is Bowen stepping on Amare's LEFT heel and causing his RIGHT leg to limp.
    Brilliant.

I can easily see this leading to the spurs demise if Bowen is again looked at very closely and getting into foul trouble the rest of the playoffs very early.....

...and you still contend there was no contact? Intent, severity of the action aside, is there contact?

Why would you say that when Bowen seemingly does nothing wrong?

I think the toe of Bowen's shoe perhaps grazed the back of Amare's shoe - but maybe not.

because a) the refs are human and susceptible to having their perception changed, b) the refs read newspapers and c) you're too stupid to realize A or B.

Blame the NBA. This space between games leads to ridiculous discussions. It's been this way on this forum for four years. If there's more than 2 days off, it turns to elementary school level discussion

If stupid as suns fans would stop defending Amare's actions this debate would have been over a looong time ago.

Suns fans listen up, D'antoni and the whole suns organization is embarrassed about this incident and the turmoil it caused. Amare has been told to STFU.

    idiots!

    My work here is done.
I used to play basketball. That is, up until I got injured. I was going for a layup and some knucklehead stepped on the back of my foot. The force was so great that it actually made my shoe come off. I even had a small scratch on my heel. Sure, I wasn't permanently injured, but the psychological damage had been done. After that, I got frightened every time I attacked the basket. I'd think, "will I get stepped on again?". The anxiety was unbearable. To this day, whenever I see a pair of high-tops, I think I'm going to start projectile vomiting or get a case of the hershey squirts.

This is the best thing I have read all day.

So the Spurs demise; the mighty Spurs, with all their talent and rings, will be the result of the refs being human and because they read newspapers? Where in the did you pull that one from and what have you been smoking today?

but comments like this is certainly worthy of keeping the thread going. That is my point. You guys get so bent out of shape and resort to name calling and elementary school discussions( as your moderator stated) it keeps me entertained and boosts my self confidence.

    Keep up the good work!!!!

It's called being a pessimist for sake of anti-jinxing a no-jinx trolling thread, I pulled it from my brain and I haven't smoked anything unless you count chloroform fumes, dude you are a HORRIBLE troll

    Come up with something decent

    like DECENT at least

this thread is fun still but if you keep up this trolling strategy you'll kill it way before it reaches 50 pages.

It's like that song by 311: come original

you have to realize this forum has withheld 3 or 4 Mavericks Fans Barrages, not unlike Hurricanes, and you're gonna have to do way better than that

    all the you're saying

    we've heard it before

not only that, but the way you're saying it, we've heard it before

    all of it

so find a different strategy or take a lesson from mouse cuz your tactics are akin to that of the Mensheviks of 1917
