High school DB coach is a Tennessee guy, who is in his ear, and Texas isn't having a great year right now on defense. Not sure if it will happen or not, but SEC is dirty so anything can happen. I'm really hoping we can keep him, but if he does flip I think Texas can bring in another guy that will get the job done. Not to mention We have some pretty salty guys looking at Texas as well.

I believe Texas thinks CB Marcus Banks would be the best replacement, if Watson decides to go elsewhere.
So, they're trying to keeping that recruitment (Banks) somewhat lukewarm, for the time being.

I had looked under the cornerback list and couldn’t find him so I guess we did not offer him yet ?
Banks isn't on the list because I ran out of characters on the first page, and he was committed to LSU for a while.
It's still not clear how interested Texas is since they have two CBs committed, but Banks does technically have an offer from a long time ago since was an original target.
