james played in finals with a broken hand
leonard could have played the last 15 games and playoffs with being 75 percent which he was for sure if not closer to 100
But why did Parker say what he said? Why take it there??
The guy who’s RUPTURED HIS QUAD tendon and played within 6 months called out a guy who’s quad is sore with calcium build up or whatever you wanna call it lol...still hasn’t played and not only that LEFT the team and was not keeping his teammates in the loop. They’re busting their ass trying to stay alive and all they wanted to know was if he was coming back...Kawhi missed his own deadline to return and they wanted to know what’s up...,the worst part. He couldn’t or wouldn’t give them an answer and left he team again...
You’re a Top 5 player in the league...If KD, LeBron or anybody else pulled this stunt they’d be getting obliterated...only reason why Kawhi didn’t is because they the media knew before all this he had Lakers in his sight..
That’s the most ed up part...he wanted out before all of this and then used his injury and frustration against PATFO to make them not the understanding ones..while paying him max salary meanwhile taking away all their control. Spurs tried to play ball but it didn’t work because it was NEVER gonna work.
It would’ve been hard for Kawhi and their camp to play their card if he played and Spurs won 60 games again..they couldn’t take that risk..so miss the season stay healthy and watch the team go down In flames

The supermax would be an average of $45 mil/year for 5 years for a perimeter player starting when he turns 29 years old. That's going to be, what close to 40% of the cap? For a player with a mysterious lingering injury which he just missed 73 games for last season.
Truth bomb.
Parker is a got. French bum ran Kawhi out of town. Spurm fan in denial per usual.
I laughed when Jax said he lost respect for the Spurs after Parker/Manu had that meeting with Kawhi. I wanted to say you can't lose something that you never had in the first place. It's like I said last night jokingly to my younger brother about Jax which is how can anybody be a credible unbiased source about a former employer when they have gotten fired twice by the employer.
Dumbest I've ever read.. So Kawhi is beasting in the play-offs, gets injured, rehabs, comes back for 9 games and then quits on the team just because?
makes lots of sense.
I've said many times since March...It doesn't matter why he said that. If a team lets frustration makes them to say in public things they shouldn't..It's not a smart decision.
Just imagine if Adams starts to call PG13 out because he disappears in crucial games last season in front of media...Do you think it's the best moment to do it?
Or a LBJ teammate says that LeBron manipulated the franchise and the locker room, that he asked FO to fire Blatt and not trade RC/Thompson?
You could think that what he's saying is true but this is it the best time to do it while the Cavs wants to keep their franchise player? No.
Like it or not, Pop, Parker and Manu's comments weren't fine.
Believing Parker is the reason why Kawhi is leaving the spurs is like believing a 20 year old model who divorced her 60 year old husband because in her words she felt that her husband took her for granted. In both cases we knew ahead of the time the relationship was never going to work out long term.
It's amazing how fun a team can be and how no one gets offended when a super max is on the table.
if parker really is part of the reason for kawhi not wanting to be in sa then we especially shoulda gotten rid of tony years ago like i had said![]()
You know things are all ed up when ducks is propping LeBron.
No one believes Parker is THE reason..People who criticize his comments think those comments didn't help to fix issues between Spurs and Kawhi.
He wanted out before MARCH!!!! Why tho?
Only reason the Spurs give Leonard any kind of extension is to maintain control and eventually move him for a better return. Frankly at this point it's in the best interest of both sides for Leonard to be extended and come back and show the league that he is indeed '100% healthy' next season.
There's no other side in this story, kid. Not even in your naive, fantasy Teletubbies world where Parker's or anybody's comments would have anything to do with the move Kawhito and Penis are pulling.
This is a basic, one face, one dimension story.
This isn't Kindergarten, son. 10x worse happesn in every locker room in every team. People clashing, even fighting but they're pro and don't give a in a vacuum.
Jordan punched Kerr in practice once. Do you think Kerr went crying and ask for a trade ? No, He man upped and got respect for that.
When 200 dudes who can see an elephant's ass in a room when all you see is Mary Poppins's pussy, it's not the 200 dudes who should rub their eyes.
So STFU now with your "my Kawhi got his feelings hurt" ridiculous crap. You're wasting bandwith and annoying anybody hashing and rehashing te same clueless pablum like a boring broken disk.
Anyway, you're probably just trolling. I hope for you.
Then why did he want out in January? Why did he already have his sights on LA?? It was premeditated murder bro..
Once Kawhi became an established top 5 player he didn’t need the Spurs anymore..why cut the cord so quick on the PATFO when they were with you since Day 1...won a le helped you become who you are.
He bailed on them..we don’t really know why cause he doesn’t have the balls to say so. He’s not having fun, I guess lol.
Yes. Because apparently Kawhi and players like him are 13 years old, so when they get their feelings hurt they shirk all their professional responsibilities, act like social autistics and close all communication.
Scratch that. 13-year olds actually kiss and make up after fighting the previous day.
Reality is that the team is not perfect, and grew frustrated by Kawhi's oppressive and unintuitive silence. I definitely buy the "it's not fun" rumor regarding Kawhi. He's an underdeveloped millennial, with father issues not of his own fault. But he's not getting good advice, and he's a fool if he thinks a change of scenery means a more comfortable social dynamic on a team. He needs to see the change has to largely come within him. I'm sure Tony, Manu, Patty, whomever, would have gladly brought Kawhi into their social circles if he showed any interest.
But anyway, the Tony comment thing is middle-school level logic; not surprising from the helmet crowd here though. Tony is still a legend (no legend is perfect...) and your hate is like a fart in the wind.
Of course you know that.
I was truly interested in his response to the hypothetical DNC offer that someone asked him about. A positive answer there would have been even more unexpected.
