The source of this rumor is probably just Pop and RC messing with the Lakers.
Exactly. I created a thread before the deadline that Kawhi would be traded. It got removed for whatever reason, but back then there were problems, but yeah blame it on Parker's, Manu's, and Pop's comments.

I guess the Spurs have respect for their winning culture, Tim and Pop.If Pop is the reason why guys don't want to stay in SA then why wouldn't things get better after he retires? The real truth is SA is a small market like Indiana,Utah and will always have trouble getting a big time FA because guys simply don't want to be in small market.
