Final score: Texas 37, Rice 10. I was close.
Was hoping to be very wrong, but as I feared, 'Horns have habits carrying over from last year. Gonna need to evolve fast to have a prayer against 'Bama.
In other words, no.
So far the sites i've hit had the 1Q odds blacked out.
Now the Baylor Chokers are down 28-13.
WTF?

Mean UT defense gives hope
Offense just seemed not all that
Hard to get a good read against weak Rice
Rofllllll Tech. All that preseason dark horse hype talk gone after week 1
little 12 Blake
we'll finally get rid of those two auto losses every year in OU and UT at least
I'm not sure this team can beat Baylor or UTSA tho
atleast we know Cucksas Tech is a pretender after Week 1. Instead of having to wait until Week 4 after their usual 3-0 Fool's gold starts beating the Montana Prairie Valley A&M's of the world 77-0 IMO
It'll be just like Tech to end up beating Oregon this week
outside of the Mahomes years, Texas Tech has basically looked like the exact same team every year since Leach. Quick, fast, at the WR/RB position, streaky QB play with several clunkers a season, undersized across the board on defense, bad against the run, complete inability to stop mobile QBs, terrible running game with the exception of a few games a season...have the ability to grit out wins against teams in that 25-11 range if it's a good day but guaranteed anywhere from 5-8 losses a year due to general inconsistency and major geographical disadvantage to get any talent.
tbh I feel like they're going to have to get lucky and have a generational coach like Saban or Smart get fired for drunkenly beating their wife/major cheating scandal and then have Tech get lucky and scoop them up for a season or two to springboard a major turnaround. With OU/UT leaving, and with CFB playoffs possibly expanding to 8 teams, maybe they get lucky one out of every 30 seasons and go undefeated due to a terrible schedule only to get butt ed by someone like Bama in the first round. IMO, that's pretty much the future of Tech football
Exciting game so far
LSU has some big run after catch but unless they can start pounding the rock this Offense looks too small short attack & tight
"Keon Coleman was never offered by LSU despite being from Louisiana."
3 TDs
9-2?
Seminoles clearly the superior Southern program
Seminoles finally have an Offensive Line again
FSU is Back
FSU has maybe 3 real games left if you count lol U of F and Miami.
Weak schedule from here on out
Lol we had a one in a thousand year player in Mahomes and our defense was such we could barely win 7 games even putting up 50 point games.
But yeah, looks like same team as any other year. I knew all this dark horse talk was bull because you look at the stat sheets, we got crushed in all categories against, OU, UT and Ol Piss and crazy lucked our way into those wins last year.
Shough has a noodle arm and looks like he's running in mud. There's a reason he left Oregon. Morton is the best QB we have. But , it won't really matter either way. We'll be lucky to get 7 wins this year. My guess is 5.
LSU
Vtech
Clemson
Miami
Florida
Tougher than Texas
If they are for real, FSU shouldn't lose any of those games.
Yah run first offense can burn the clock
Dline is elite. Linebackers & Secondary not as strong.
Most offensive weapons since the '99 team
Good game v LSU who is not a smart team
Clemson is a test
The rest lol
Weak schedule
Haha you just gonna ride this anti-FSU troll
It was only Week1. Some teams will rebound even from early losses.
We haven't beat Clemson since the last time reached the Playoff - 2014 vs Oregon in Pasadena. I attended.
Miami will likely be stronger. Gators is last game of the season They have plenty of time to find another QB
Not troll well maybe a little
I looked at the top 25
Only lol Florida had votes besides Clemson
Good game v LSU
It’s setting up for FSU
