The last time Bassey was making highlights in San Antonio:

Give this kid a multi-year contract already.

It's amazing its not like Bassey is some 26 year old G league journey man, this kid just turned 22 less than two weeks ago and younger than Vassell and Tre Jones, he fits in with the rebuild seemingly

Adams is one of the most tenacious, tough, hustle type centers in the league and Bassey showed a crazy amount of confidence and patience going against him.

I was surprised when Bassey fell out of the 1st, and then really bummed when we passed him at 41 to take Weezy. Glad he is here now though. Awesome story to have a "home town" (kinda) player on the team, making waves.

Keldon being so good removes some of the stench of the Samanic pick. I hope Bassey can do the same.

But seriously this guy seems to have come out of nowhere and he looks like an absolute natural.

This team is obsessed with feeding Tre Jones and that is so damned silly.

Kobe didn't go out of the way to make sure Derek Fisher touched the ball every play.

Crazy thing about Bassey is he's excellent on both sides of the court.

Abusing and blocking Adams but also little nifty finishes arround the rim too

12 offensive boards in the half for the Grizz. That should help the tank i guess.

Spurs are basically switching everything which is leaving our bigs stuck out on the perimeter when shots go up, and guys like Richardson and Jones aren't even really fighting for boards

I expect KJ to come back in the second half ready to play but he still has a ways to go trying to create his own shot and not depending on a catch and shoot or a catch and drive. He's made huge strides so I have no doubt he will figure it all out in due time. Devin looks like a natural scorer out there, he looks a little sloppy here and there tonight but I will give him the benefit of the doubt from being out a couple of games.

Just following the boxscore. Why is Johnson only taking four shots in two quarters. He's the franchise guy. Act like it

Can't give up 7 unanswered to end a half. That's how you lose these games.

Bassey is a revelation. Why was he cut? And I like what Romeo is doing.

If I remember right bassey was cut for 2 reasons: luxury tax and also the signing of Harrell as a vet that Doc would play as the backup no matter what.
