Scola scored 33 points and 7 rebounds today.
Look at all his pics. Anyone who consistently has that much emotion on his face is going to light up this team with some energy.
Scola scored 33 points and 7 rebounds today.
I think Scola will bring some additional life to this team. With Malik gone now, it opens the door for Scola to be the first big off the bench.
The question with Scola is his defense and rebounding. He has worked long and hard with the Spurs staff doing what they ask of him and more.
I'm excited about the prospects of Scola. I would of preferred Malik o still be here at least in year one...but you cant always get what you really want.
Really? That's great.
Maybe Luis was watching this thread...![]()
If Malik have a Big Heart, Scola have 2 hearts
He is in the Opposite side of Rasho
His 33 Points are 48 Efficiency Points
The box Score is here:

I´m only talking about Heart
And he was the Max Scorer of The Olympic Final, a little thing
Nope,
The best player when Virtus (Kinder) Bologna won Euroleague was Manu. IN fact he was the MVP.
Rasho was never a top player in Europe. Manu was, Sabonis was, Petrovic was, Rajda and Kukoc were some.
Gus
He's not missing his right eye, is he?
he looks like sloth from the goonies in that pic!
Not anymore my dear friend.
I have seen many NBA'rs strugglin' in the Euroleague.
Of course NBA is better, but not that ... Better.
Rasho won the euroleague with Kinder in 1998, Manu won it in 2001.
Don't forget Dejan Bodiroga.
a rebound is a rebound, but assists are actually recoreded differently. only assists in the direction of the basket counts. Example: if a center passes the ball back out to the guy on the perimeter and the guy makes the basket, it does not count as an assist. At least as i remember, anybody else knows this?
I thought the same the first time I saw him. Well, maybe not re ed but definitely not one of the brightest minds in our NT. Some time later, when I heard him in an interview I was surprised to find out that he was actually pretty smart, maybe above average, even if his face said otherwise. He seemed a very centered person and was doing a great analysis of his career and basketball in general.
About the stats, I don't know if there are any differences in the way rebs are recorded because I guess there has to be a rebound for every shot attempt. But assist are certainly recorded differently, the player receiving the pass must score immediately, almost without even dribbling. In general the NBA is much more prone to inflate stats than FIBA leagues, I believe it's a marketing thing.
We'll see how he pans out, but that Guerilla Face....someone ought to tell him not to do that anymore....awful.
Might want to check Manu's stats this year.Euroleague<<<<<NBA w/c means that a guy who puts up 30 and 10 over there is = 8 and 4 in the NBA
Manu have the same Numbers in the NBA as he had is Italy
Yes Bodiroga is a big Euro player. I didn't mention
him because he don't play or played in the NBA
Gus
Wolves009 your just upset because your team is struggling and they have no clue where they will be next year. They have guys that are out of their prime demanding new contracts while the spurs have their core locked down for six years with new role players waiting to get on the team. That is what happens when you have a good system with a humble superstar that leads by example.
he looks like Antonio Banderas
