Now the thread le can officially be:

Manu will definitely get surgery. Should the Spurs pursue Kirk Snyder?
    I'd go after Q.Ross first

    I'd go after Q.Ross first
I know his D is very good, but he doesn't take threes at all (he has made 12 threes in 4 years!) and his FG% was 39% last year. Snyder has shortcomings, but if Ross put up Snyder's stats next year it would be a career best season for him in terms of points, rebounds, assists, and FG% by a long shot.

I don't know about his locker room presence-- he might be more level-headed and mature, which was one of Snyder's problems in the past, though not in Minnesota as far as I've read. Has Ross gotten any interest that you know of? I know Boston looked at Snyder...

    An update on Shaun Livingston,

I guess he is available after all, I had heard earlier reports the Lakers looked at him but found him totally not ready. But from Warriors rumors, Livingston can play 5 on 5 now.

I don't want to replace an injury-prone player with an even more injury-prone player.

This is like the 7th jinx thread this offseason. If we didn't jinx anything, Maggette and Gist would be on the team, and Manu would be in tiptop shape.

Ok, not exactly. But still, off with the jinx threads.

Geez, still believing in jinxes in the 21 century, huh? Maybe if you sacrifice a virgin to the Sun God or read one of the selections from the Oprah Book Club, you'll be able to undo the jinx, and also end all wars and illnesses.

You'll have to call Chuck Norris if you need that to happen.

    Innovative use of a smilie.

So your argument is that you only know the stars of the league, and therefore bringing up a lesser known bench/role player's name doesn't impress you... the guy with a limited knowledge of the NBA? That's a convincing argument...

If you were to sign Kirk Snyder you would end up regretting it more than the Bonner signing. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!
Why not? He has a hot wife.
