    I'm kinda partial to beers #7, 8, and 9.

Once you get to #10, the 2 left in the 12 pack start rolling around and reminding you that you're almost outta beer.

I drink mainly obscure Utah microbrews so I won't list the brands, but I enjoy me a good porter, a good hefe and a good rye beer... in that order and always, in extreme moderation.

As far as mainstream beers go, I'll just say that I think Becks is better than Heineken, Red Stripe is over-rated and that Sam Adams and Sierra are BY FAR the best mega-breweries.

I like Shiner Bock, Sam Adams, and I'll usually have Bud Light in the fridge by default, so I guess those would be my three.

I'm no beer connoisseur by far but I like...

    1. Dos XX
    2. Blue Moon or Blue Moon Rising Moon (seasonal)
    3. Coors Light - go to beer.

Does anyone like Bass Beer? I tried it in Colorado and have gotten it a couple of times in HEB, but I haven't met anyone besides myself that drinks it.

Perhaps its the temptation of the fruit that's not readily available, but Yuengling's Traditional Lager is among my favorites
Ahh, one of the joys I learned of on first trip to Pittsburgh.

Recently I've gotten into drinking wheat beer, which I had never done before just a month ago. Blue Moon, Sam Adams Summer Seasonal are the two I like most.

I also like a Peruvian beer I tried at a Peruvian restaurant... Cristal.

I used to love Sam Adams Cherry Wheat for an occassional change, but I can't find it anymore.

I also LOVE Kirin Ichiban. Nice, easy going lager.

For my benefit, which are your favorite Utah microbrews? Of the three styles you listed, I'm primarily interested in the porter, but any other recommendations would be awesome.

I'm pretty partial to microbrews myself, primarily amber or darker, but that's probably a function of the fact that I was introduced to alcohol in the Pacific Northwest.

Amstel Light, which I really like and don't think of as a light beer. I've never seen any of the other Amstels but I'd really like to give them a try.

Yeah, Amstel is the only light beer that can be called a beer.
