77-79 Wash 4:12 4th
As bad as they've played we're still in this!!!!
Parker throws the ball away.... hard to win a game when you're beating yourself.
This is a pretty good game. The Spurs could have laid down at any time. Instead, they're hanging tough -- most of the mistakes are made by guys trying to make something happen. I'm good with that.
who sez TD shld not be on the MVP list this season? His team just completely ed up today. it's not even Miami or Sonics, or Suns![]()
Ruffin take a decesive rebound
Tim wouldn't change anything tonight, he's played in all of the of give-away losses.
Spurs inconsistent as .
Why does Tony wait till the 4th to come and play some Basket?
Missed three by Brent ...and that will probably do it.
Why did Barry take this last shot? He is 0-3 from 3 point renge this evening.
C'mon Boutons one loss in the last seven games is inconsistent????? I'll take that kind of inconsistency anytime of the year!
What a horse call on Malik! Arenas was a foot inside the restricted zone. POPDAMN, that in ref is blind.
ing sickening and embarrassing losing to these ers, who aren't even playing a good game.
Merry Christmas, Wizards,
somehow, 11 losses is the surest sign of inconsistency in boutons' world.
spoiled. Some Spurs fans are just plain spoiled. Anything other than undefeated is just simply unacceptable!!!
And to say that Timmy wouldn't have made a difference is just asinine.
Yo croutons shut the up. Thanks.
Bobcat win was pure fools gold, we needed to play well tonight and we didn't so we lost. Looks like this team ain't that fantastic without Tim Duncan.
Hey WDT, Tim has played in every ing give away loss this year, where he didn't make any difference in the outcome.
Playing a good game and getting beat by a better game (like @POR) is one thing.
Playing crappy and giving games away to inferior teams just sucks.
How is expecting the Spurs to play a decent, average game being spoiled?
In the race with PHX, every Spurs loss counts against HCA.
I guess I really should find SOME reason to -- after all, my team played hard, albeit not well, and lost the second game of a back-to-back on the road, without the league's best player, against a team that is going to be around in the playoffs.
The Spurs played very hard and gave it all they had. They just couldn't fit thru Jamison hitting everything and Duncan not playing. That was a nice effort and a good learning experience for the team.
This loss will help the Spurs much more than a blowout win would have.
Sure, and I think it's pretty realistic to think that Phoenix won't lose again.![]()
Sure, I can't say with 100% certainty that Tim would have changed the result. But, to say that Tim wouldn't have made "any difference" as you did, demonstrates a fundamental lack of basketball knowledge.
Sure, I wish they had won the game. But you know what? It's real life, not X-Box. You're dealing with real people. They aren't perfect, even if you wish they were. They had a bad night. Big freakin' deal. The truth is, the Spurs (without Tim) played a decent, average game for most NBA teams. They lost a close game on the road against a solid NBA team. If you choose to get bent about that, rather than respecting their effort, I think you're spoiled.
agreed!
that was a good game from the Wzrds unfortunately the Spurs didn't play we expected them to. Barry was again in his usual self, that last 3 could have made a difference...
TD did not play and we lost.No hard feelings here. Congrats Wzrds...
Duncan wouldn't have change the result???
We've got outrebounded by Haywood and Rufin in this game!
That shouldn't have happend with Tim.
