And yes...its been awhile since the Cowboys have won a playoff game 4291 days to be exact but I will trade that every time for those trophies.

Cowboys are gonna win this one not totally easily but handily.

By 2 touchdowns at the least IMO.

The Redskins had trouble with the Cardinals who are a couple steps down from the Cowboys offensively, and obviously the Cowboys defense is better than the defense of the dudnals, so we shall see.

it could be noted that if you look very closely underneath barber's helmet - there's a sticker that says 'property of the washington redskins.'

last year, barber vs. the skins: 21 carries for 37 yards.

if they can keep him under his averages again tomorrow, they'll be in the game (and I don't mean 'within 2 TDs' in the game).

Thats cool...I want to see Felix get more carries.

But seriously...This game has Witten, Jones and Barber Vs Cooley and Portis written all over it.

And I am not kidding...I really feel better that Roy Williams is not playing. I'm sure Cooley does not feel the same. So glad this will be his last year (cap friendly contract cut after this season)

I don't see Portis having a big game. He just needs to keep hacking away with 3 yards and a cloud of dust each carry.

For the Skins to be a threat, Campbell is going to have to make some plays downfield with Cooley and Moss. Santana has had some of his best games as a Skin against Dallas - as a Redskin at Texas Stadium: 3 games, 18 receptions, 349 yards, 3 TD.

Hopefully it will be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the team has been known to lay an egg in some of these early season games, then sneak in the backdoor at the end while everyone is sleeping on them. (there's a couple of puns built in there, but it's too late in the evening for me to care...)

and if i don't miss 21 back there layin the wood and making TO cry lika beyatch...

we will need laron to bring the pain to win.

jessica in attendance wouldn't hurt either...

the only times I've ever seen TO get alligator arms involved Taylor roaming the middle in his vicinity.

laron's a big hitter, but he's just not the physical specimen that Taylor was. Taylor would have never gotten trucked over like Landry did by Brandon Jacobs - and I'm not sure Jacobs would have even tried to do it to #21. Landry's just not as physically imposing as the guy who had the speed of a corner, but the size of a linebacker.

On the other hand, Landry is much smarter than Taylor was at this age - he's rarely out of position and he knows when to go for the big hit vs. just making the tackle.

Amazingly, the Redskins lost the best safety in the division and replaced him with...the best safety in the division. But man, it would have been amazing to watch them both out there for the next 5-10 years. No matter what highs or lows the team hits over the next decade, there will certainly be a large 'what might have been' factor regarding ST.

LMAO best safety in the division?

Brian Dawkins called, he said stop being such a ing homer.

Dallas will never blow out the Redskins. ever. no matter how good we are or how bad they are.

not only are they our rival, but they are a to play due to their ball control, and conservative offense. they are always in games except for the Patriots game last year where they got completely torn the apart
Seems to me back in '93 Dallas blew out the Foreskins 38-3.

Still will miss Crazy Ray though.

actually, i would have agreed with you COMPLETELY before the season. but dawkins is clearly a step slower this year. he's 35, it was bound to happen at some point. nonetheless - he's still a very competent player that has to be accounted for out there. but landry is playing better football right now.

and there's no doubt that taylor was the best safety in the division last year before his death. outside of maybe bob sanders, he was probably the best safety in football. because he was such a big hitter, people don't seem to realize how good in coverage taylor was.

Cowboys game plan very similar as last week. Be able to run Barber and Felix against 7 man fronts and force skins to bring Landry up leaving either TO or Witten in single coverage with no help. Then burn them.

Defense needs to control run with front 7 leaving 2 deep on Moss and Cooley.

Dominate in special teams, especially against one of leagues weakest punt coverage teams.

    Get the win.

One thing I won't miss about Texas stadium is the afternoon game shadows

Burn a time out early and follow up with offsides...great way to start Washington

Insert "this is not the 1830s, Ware needs to quit abusing the Redskins" joke.

I like the skins defensive strategy to start, play physical bump and a lot of hold off the ball on TO and Witten, but Garrett adjusted with some motion and got Witten one on one with the LB. See how skins try to counter because they've been adjusted to and exploited.

Offensive line needs a better push on run blocking, they've been subpar so far. Stout defense up front by skins. Impressive.
